We were looking for accommodation at short notice and by chance got a double room with an extra bed. Everything was there and the room was clean and functional. We were warmly welcomed and everything was explained. The breakfast was rich and our son was taken care of. We were very satisfied. We'll definitely come back.

A really nice place to enjoy. The owners' friendliness was also warm and approachable. If you're looking for a crowded "Hilton" of the 5-star class, you won't find it here (but that's a matter of taste, I'm a fan of "rustic"), but if you're looking for peace and enjoyment of nature, you're in the right place here. Also a paradise for “bad sleepers” to unwind. Price-performance unbeaten. Meanwhile, this won't be my last visit, so in my opinion it's the best rating. Chapeau

The Harz residence is in a very quiet location and the holiday apartment has a very good price-performance ratio. We received a very friendly welcome and were given good and helpful tips for things to do and hikes. We felt comfortable and really enjoyed our vacation. Would love to come back.

I absolutely CANNOT understand the bad reviews!!! In the photos you can see what you get for the very reasonable price. Rooms are completely sufficient, clean and I felt comfortable. You can tick what you want for breakfast so it can't be too little 😉. Table tennis table, large terrace available. The owners were very friendly and always had a few tips for hiking and other activities. Would love to come back here.

Stayed overnight here on the Harzer Hexensteig and met the head witch personally. Very rude greeting and don't come to the breakfast room 5 minutes early! I hardly dared to breathe!Room (bathroom was very small, 2 square meters) and breakfast were okay for the price.

I've been coming here to vacation for over 20 years! The location is beautiful, the rooms offer what you need. Breakfast is always delicious and the landlords are very lovely.Would go there for at least 20 more years. ☺️

We were here for a family reunion and booked several rooms. The furnishings are simple but good, the breakfast was solid and good. There is a party cellar and, in addition to the table tennis table, the grill could be used freely.

Nobody answers the phone here and there is no response to emails. I tried to get in touch for almost two weeks.Addendum: of course I would like to grant them their well-deserved vacation, but I left a message on the answering machine and sent at least one email, if that's not enough then I don't know what is...

Super nice accommodation with nice landlords. Always had a tip for excursions. Many hiking trails in the area. Simply beautiful and nice... again and again
