We were at Restaurant Adler for the first time today. We've only been living in the village for two years and didn't know until today that the restaurant was open. But we were definitely not there for the last time. We learned that the restaurant has had 23 new tenants since June. The service was friendly and quick. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The pizza in particular was very tasty. There were three of us and we didn't pay 60 euros. I think this is good for our region. You can park right in front of the door. The guest room is furnished in old German style - but very cozy and rustic. I'll repeat myself but the food was really good and we'll be back!Update May 24: We have been to this restaurant several times and are always very satisfied. Even larger groups of 10 people were no problem. Service was attentive, friendly and quick. The food is always impressive. There has recently been an ice cream counter. Also highly recommended!

Today we spontaneously had dinner here. A few days ago we were here and were able to get our first impressions of the “new” host. This visit left more than just a positive impression. The overall impression with a slightly Italian ambience is harmonious and fits wonderfully into the originally rustic pub. I last reviewed here two years ago, when another host was present. Personally, I definitely like it better with the current one.Two pizzas with drinks were ordered. Pizzas are very good. A lot of other things are boring. Service is bad. After changing provider, things have been going very well again since 2020. Owners are very hard working. Everyone is trying to make another change (2023), but no one here is an expert

After the flops of the previous tenants, finally a good Italian restaurant in Herten again! Nice service and delicious food, e.g. pizza with a thin base, crispy edges, plenty of toppings and mozzarella, as it should be!
