A few weeks ago I was a guest at Haus Hansen. My room was very clean and so was the rest of the area. The breakfast was lavish, served with fresh, delicious rolls and very good coffee. Ms. Hansen was always extremely helpful and friendly. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable for Berlin. I'm already looking forward to my next trip. Personally, I can't say anything bad about this guesthouse. On the contrary.

Since we have informed the health department and local sanitation, your room rental is still open. Since the conditions in your area are catastrophic and unsanitary. Dirty environment and rooms that cannot be quantified as such. Spoiled food, even dirty dishes. Everything is germy, so why do guests still write that you can feel comfortable in Haus Hansen? My wife and I just don't understand that.

I always like going to Haus Hansen. And that has been the case for several years. I would like to describe the family atmosphere in this apartment building, which is over 80 years old, as unique in Berlin. There are small gifts from guests everywhere and Ms. Hansen clearly makes an effort and is always in a good mood. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned every day. Everything fine. You can tell the age of the house, and a few floorboards sometimes creak. What the hell. On top of that there is a rich breakfast. The whole thing is rounded off with a large garden with a pool for the summer. I would say the price-performance ratio is top.Frank Scharnow

Where should I start..First of all, the landlady is really very nice and friendly. Now for the negative...I was in room 1 and in my opinion the whole house needs a major renovation. If you stand in front of the sink you have to be afraid of breaking in the way the beams bend. The furnishings are okay, nothing special, but there is still a wild boar skin hanging over the beds. I would think it's a matter of taste, but I'm not really into it if the thing slowly dissolves and you often have the fur in the bed while lying down. The heaters look like they have never been replaced and are coated with thick layers of paint. I don't know if these things even work in winter. Then there is 1 bathroom in the hallway.. for 4 rooms. If you think about the fact that all 4 rooms are double rooms and theoretically there are 8 people there at the same time and everyone would have to share 1 bathroom. However, the bathroom would also need a basic renovation. The shower cubicle door cannot be closed properly. We pointed this out to you but we don't know if anything is happening. And in the shower if you look up towards the ceiling, you can definitely feel sick. Otherwise there are 2 permanent guests. One of them is terrorizing the hallway at 4/4:30 and the other doesn't really know what she's doing there. But she is very curious and likes to listen when we leave our rooms. I would even say that she was watching you while you were showering, but I can't confirm that for sure. The lady also helped myself to my colleague's refrigerator and was happy to take a look while he wasn't in the room. The whole house itself smells pretty old and musty. The breakfast... well I don't think they have anything like a dishwasher there. Plates were dirty, we had to scrape the cups clean with our fingers and the rolls were definitely old. The sausage and salami that was served there also looked pretty old. Be careful with the cheese wedges, they may well already be expired. And even the coffee tasted strange, but that's probably a matter of taste. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying there. Sure, €21 per night sounds very good, but under these circumstances I'm happy to pay more. I wonder why something like this is even allowed. Hygiene is not a must there.Oh yes, my deposit bottles have disappeared every time.Kind regards

Ms. Hansen really tries hard. But unfortunately there is a strong smell in the house and it is not really clean. I'm so sorry to write this because Ms. Hansen is nice. But I can't recommend a stay despite the cheap price. It doesn't matter that the rooms are simple. But the smell and the lack of hygiene and cleanliness were a problem.

I share Frank Schneider's opinion 100%...'.It looked good from the outside but inside it was a complete nightmare...The pictures on the site are not even close to reality. Everything was dirty and the smell in the house was disgusting....and the breakfast....no words....The dishes were so disgusting that you couldn't eat anything.....my first thought was... ..I have to leave here otherwise I'll get herpes....I left immediately after one night....and of course I got the herpes too.....It's not that this guesthouse can be touched like that understandable....I always thought they were checked regularly....That doesn't seem to be the case....never ever again!!!!!!!!!!
