I got a room here for the weekend at fairly short notice. Lovely people where you immediately feel welcome. Stay as you are.The breakfast is beautifully prepared and is more than plentiful.The location is perfect, right behind the beach promenade, less than 5 minutes to the sea.

Luckily we found accommodation here at short notice (booking just 3 days in advance) - despite the sunny summer bathing weather. It was very worthwhile. There is a very nice and sociable atmosphere in the house. We like to come back when the weather is worse (e.g. in winter) to try out some of the recommended board games in the games room.

An extraordinary hotel where the name says it all: the hosts and rooms warmly welcome you! You sleep in rooms that have been completely redesigned with attention to special details in comfortable beds with wonderfully fresh-smelling bed linen. The breakfast is just as lovingly prepared as the house is furnished. And the most extraordinary thing: a games room with countless different games! If you're in Dahme, then you should definitely stay at the Hotel Sonnenschein!

Beautiful, family-run hotel close to the beach.The hotel is located directly behind the dike. Our room even had a view of the Baltic Sea. The beach promenade can be reached in about 3 minutes on foot, as can a small supermarket and two bakers (one of them 5 minutes). Free parking directly in front of the hotel.The rooms are clean and spacious. Our bathroom in particular was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The room also has a safe and a mini-bar.It was quiet throughout the hotel, even if there were some children there.We really enjoyed the breakfast. You receive a cake stand with various cold cuts and fruit - we discuss beforehand what you would like to eat. This can also vary daily if desired.The hotel owner is friendly, accommodating and is happy to give recommendations for things to do and restaurants upon request.The hotel is also a gaming hotel and has a large selection of games. A separate room is available for playing. (A second room for role-playing games is being planned.) If necessary, the hotel owner can give tips on choosing a game, help with the rules or join the game group. We had a lot of fun and were able to test some games. Great alternative in bad weather.We'd love to come back :)

I was there on the first weekend in March to enjoy some quiet, off-season sea air. Room and bathroom were clean. Ultimately everything you need is there. Small, fine hotel with friendly hosts and, as far as I can tell, a professional game collection (over a thousand games). Actually perfect for game lovers who want to enjoy the peace and quiet outside of a summer season and play. "Beach location" directly behind the dike with very close access to the beach. I'd love to come back.

Were not in the hotel but in a nearby house. But we had a problem with food on New Year's Eve because all the shops etc. were already closed. Thank God the owner helped us out and even gave us a quick look at the incredibly large collection of games. You have to give 5 stars for the spontaneous and warm help.

Cozy little hotel. Very nice owner who was actually able to accommodate us for just one night. Breakfast was really good and plentiful.We'll definitely come back again.

The hotel lives from its warm owner! Great man!!!! Really! You feel like you're visiting a friend! So warm and not at all intrusive. We were in transit and our daughter had forgotten her pillow. He called us and brought us the pillow to Grömitz. Were really amazed at so much humanity. We'd love to come back!!!! And the breakfast was a thousand times better than in some hotel chains!!! Thanks so much

Really great host.The check-in took about 15 minutes because we were “philosophizing” about God and the world. The Austrian dialect simply invited it.The price-performance ratio is right. The hotel is an old city villa.The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. If necessary, you can use a cool box as a small refrigerator. Great idea!The breakfast was really good. At check-in you will be asked what you want. Types of rolls, cheese, sausage, eggs, cream cheese, quark, various jams, Nutella, muesli, fruit and vegetables. There is also 1 liter of coffee. And that for 10.00 euros. Mega!The hotel offers an incredible number of board games on cold or rainy days. For this reason, among other things, extra rooms are booked. A great alternative.The location is great. Second row and about 2 minutes to the beach. You are immediately back on the busy promenade. Here you have many different options for shopping, using the restaurants or simply relaxing on the beach. A puck is also just a few minutes away.Conclusion:We kept talking to each other. It is family and not anonymous.The hotel is simply run with love, passion and pride.We felt very comfortable here.We'd love to come back. 👍🏻

A very nice and clean accommodation. The owner (born in Austria) is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The promenade is a stone's throw away.It should also be mentioned that the owner has more than 500 board games and are available to his guests in a specially designed games room.

We spent 3 days in the hotel with our granddaughter over Pentecost. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and felt at home from the minute we arrived...Very nice and friendlyOwner. We booked again straight away for the summer holidays.
