When we arrived, we received a phone call telling us which pin we should enter into the key box to receive the room key. Even from the outside the building looked pretty bland. As the conversation continued, the lady who was sitting in another house asked if they “needed” to prepare breakfast for us. The room also turned out to be a failure: a hole in the bedspread, a peeling skirting board and a lot of things that were simply painted over.

We booked an apartment because we originally came to buy a car. The hotel was therefore perfect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are extremely clean and have a quiet and cozy atmosphere. Everything in one was ours Expectations exceeded.

We stayed at “Markt eins” in Schöpoenstedt from December 2nd to 3rd, 2023 as part of a birthday party.The guest house shines with its historicalCharm creates a pleasant and cozy atmosphere and is accentuated by the furniture.The reception at “Markt eins” was very friendly, the employees were helpful and courteous.The rooms (2)/(3) are bright, cozy and comfortably furnished. The interior includes, among other things: a box spring bed with a top mattress and topper for a really good quality of sleep.Furthermore, a TV, desk, floor lamp, etc.There is also a small refrigerator in the natural wood wardrobe.A goodie is the small kettle station for instant coffee along with tea bags, sugar, teaspoons and cups.WiFi available, password is on a card on the picture next to the TV.The bathroom has been renovated, very clean and was without any marks. Good water pressure in the shower, towel heater and accessible shower stool.We were invited externally for breakfast, but I am convinced that the breakfast in the Mark eins Guesthouse will be presented and served in a rich form and quality.A little suggestion! Perhaps you would like to inform the guest where to find the light switch to the stairwell. (Next to the green side entrance door)According to our positive impression, the guest house "Mark eins" presents itself in a very friendly, polite and customer-oriented manner that invites you to linger. We'd love to come back.

Nice clean (small) room and friendly staff. Modern bathroom.You could hear every step from the room above.Mattress was very, very hard, pillows absolutely unusable.Unfortunately the surroundings are very run down. Very loud music from outside all the time at night, without oropax it is impossible to sleep.Breakfast was good.

Incredibly friendly and helpful... given the warm temperatures, a refrigerator was immediately provided for me... and drinks were also provided... thank you very much for that! The room was modern and very clean!The mattress and pillow were simply heavenly...a good night's sleep guaranteed!The inner courtyard is a quiet place to linger and entertain.The coffee machine is a dream 😁The breakfast was more than sufficient for me and very tasty. The accommodation in the dilapidated outbuilding of Markt Eins Schöppenstedt was horrible in terms of the broken and sticky furnishings and dirty furnishings (apart from the laundry). Dirty stairwell, mold stains and useless screws on the wall, defective drawers, shower and room doors, an old mini-TV (Spanish language), the bed caused itching and in the end I had to pay extra for the breakfast that was also booked.
