Beautifully located, I had everything I needed to have a really nice 2 week holiday. I didn't have towels with me, no problem, I was offered them. Very nice people. Everything was great. Thank you. I'm happy to recommend it

We stayed 4 days and the room and terrace were nice. Ms. Dangl is a really nice person. I can recommend it at any time, even if it's a bit remote and you like beautiful nature and mountains close by.

We were guests for about a week. Communication with Ms. Dangl was pleasant and good.We had booked the Hochgern apartment with a living area, a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.Unfortunately there was no WiFi.Real country air from the surrounding farms.Rooms are very noisy.

This place is a very nice place with lot of scenic views. Very peaceful for a calm vacation. Room facilities are very good. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Thank you Michel for maintaining this place in this manner. A great service. This place is something more than a business, for the community. Keep up good work! Guests who use public transport must plan the buses. Even if one has to walk to the nearest train station, it's only about 2.5km, a nice walk.

Guesthouse Sonnenhof Dangl: A traditional gem in ChiemgauWe recently spent 13 wonderful nights at the Sonnenhof Dangl guesthouse, a family business that has been in existence for six decades. Our stay in the “Maria Eck” holiday apartment was more than comfortable; we felt at home from the start.Ms. Dangl, the hospitable host, surprised us with her generosity by picking us up from the train station in Bergen and taking us back there when we left. This personal touch really made our stay special.For everyone who longs for peace and the pure country air, the Sonnenhof Dangl guesthouse is the ideal retreat. It may be true that you can smell the farm nearby, but that is exactly what adds to the authentic experience of Chiemgau. The picturesque neighborhood and the entire village ambience are just a treat for the eyes.The surrounding area offers numerous activities. Even supply options are guaranteed by a nearby Edeka market. The Hochfelln, which is located nearby and has a cable car, is an absolute must for tourists. Offering the ability to go up as many times as you want throughout your stay for one price is a real bargain.Our intention was to leave the hustle and bustle of the big cities behind us, and in this respect the Dangl guesthouse was the perfect choice. The friendly and approachable nature of the hosts made us feel welcome and valued.In short, our stay in Chiemgau was a truly unique experience thanks to the Sonnenhof Dangl guesthouse. We look forward to coming back soon!

Absolutely wonderful experience. The Dangl family was very welcoming and the accommodations were perfect. The location couldn't have been better for touring western Austria, the Obersalzberg, and southern Bavaria. We celebrated our 35th anniversary in Bergen and look forward to the time we can return.

Update 2022. still ok 😀Quite ok. We had the double room, which is a bit tight for two people for a week. The mattress would have to be replaced after the season at the latest, it has an inward slant. We would also throw out the couch and put in a chest of drawers and would have more space.Oh yes, the coffee machine is a Senseo, with instant coffee you look like we did.All in all, quite OK, especially for one person or for a long weekend.

Guest house in a great location, not far from Chiemsee, Ruhpolding etc.Very nice landlady, apartment clean, everything you need is there.We've been there twice now and definitely not the last time.Always nice, and the restaurants in town are great too.
