We can only recommend the inn, very courteous, friendly service, extra requests are no problem, very tasty food, prices are completely reasonable. Unfortunately the weather was so bad that we couldn't rate the great view.

I can heartily recommend the restaurant. The service is very friendly and accommodating. As soon as we arrived and without asking, our dog was given a bowl of water and our drinks and food also came quickly. The cheese spaetzle are absolutely delicious. The best I've ever eaten, intense flavor and not too dry. The view of the mountains is also a dream. We went there twice during our vacation and really enjoyed it each time.

Very spontaneously we decided on the small apartment in the Landgasthof Gruber. The apartment is modern and stylishly furnished. We really enjoyed the fantastic panorama of the mountains from the small balcony. The kitchen in the inn was so good that, despite the small cooking facilities in the apartment, we preferred to eat in the inn itself, and we found the hospitality of the Gruber family very pleasant. We can only recommend this accommodation.

The restaurant is really recommended!!The lady who served us was very attentive, courteous and on the ball. Every single dish came quickly and was really fantastic - definitely eat the apple strudel, it's amazing. 😍😍😍Overall a great evening 🤗

Great dishes, fast and extremely friendly service and a wonderful view of the mountains forced us to visit the "Alpengasthof Hochberg" a second time during our stay in this region. Both times our food tasted very good. My salad plate was excellent - fresh and varied. The fried onions that I ordered didn't cost extra, which is significant - compared to the competition, where you often have to pay a hefty premium for a few additional fried onions.A reservation is definitely necessary! We didn't have this the first time there and barely got the last available space. Those who came by shortly after us without a reservation were sent away.Overall, if you're in this area, it's worth stopping by this inn and spending a nice evening with delicious food. As already mentioned, it is strongly recommended to reserve a table a day in advance.

We recommend. My small room was completely sufficient, the breakfast was rich and very good and I also ate very well in the evening. I, or we too, would love to come back!

A man yelled at me because I turned around in the parking lot next to the inn. The speed limit is 30km/h there and I stick to the posted speed. But the threat is very humiliating. 🤷🏼♂️You should then find the parking lot or describe the opening times in the parking lot. Otherwise nothing will ever change up there and every second person will continue to turn around up there.

The Alpengasthof Hochberg is idyllically located on the mountain of the same name and offers a beautiful view of the Alps and Lake Chiemsee.The food was excellent and the service exemplary. We would recommend a reservation on Sunday lunchtime... Unique value for money.We will have fond memories of the visit...😊😊
