The first step before our vacation was to book. That was quite easy for me. I found the holiday apartment via Google, which also shows the house's homepage. The first nasty surprise was that the asking price for 10 days for 5 people differed by €400 from what was stated on the homepage. A call to the landlady was just as strange: "Which homepage?"..."...we only rent through xyz!" Nobody knew about their own homepage, which is still active today. The communication after the booking was made was economical. An invoice came, but no information about when to pay. It took several requests for more information.Then we stood in front of the house and were surprised at how much the current situation differs from the photos. In addition, the landlady was unavailable and we didn't know how we were going to make money. Two hours later the landlady came and said something about a key safe that had never been mentioned before.The first inspection was sobering: no washing machine (although advertised), many pieces of furniture that looked very used (greasy sofa, crumbling chairs...), not very clean, cupboards full of crust and many items simply stored somewhere.When we asked how we got eggs and milk and so on, all we got was "We don't do that anymore, actually it's no longer a farm...we only have a few cows." (although that too was advertised differently.We didn't see the landlady again, it was just that the garbage cans were full overnight and we didn't know where to put our garbage. On the last day there was information via WhatsApp in the evening that you should leave the house cleaned (also advertised differently). We didn't do it and won't be coming back! Hospitality is different!A lot of things are simply getting old and you are left with an ancient distinction for a 3-star holiday accommodation.
