The inn offers a pleasant place for a quiet break. It's a wonderful location for hiking and relaxing. I spent three nights there with my dog (who was welcome). The rooms are clean, breakfast is completely sufficient, fresh and, if desired, even with eggs in various variations. The Kropfmühle is also a good address for snacks or dinner.

Waited over an hour for the food, then instead of the venison medallion we got venison steak, which was also bloody and tough. (Not eatable)We were still allowed to pay almost €30 for a mini portion of spaetzle. We were offered free coffee in return, which is ridiculous.The venison ragout was good but the portion was also very small.The service was very nice but the waiting times were a disaster.We had to wait another half hour to pay.

A lovely place. It's rustic and "dusty" as can be, but it's very well maintained and cared for. The pond with its geese is bucolic and charming. The reception is attentive and efficient.

Decent food, a little more expensive. Dusty atmosphere.Unfortunately the young waitress was a disappointment. After an hour of waiting, it turns out that the order never reached the kitchen. Food was then delivered comfortably after 1.5 hours. Service zero stars

A wonderful little hotel with a really friendly, accommodating old school owner. Thank you very much, Mr. Sundheimer, for the excellent, uncomplicated care. We always enjoy the Tsge in their house and would love to come back.

The food was very good roast venison with spaetzle. There is still some room for improvement in terms of service, but this was due to the busy restaurant.

Had a top-notch milk coffee with a biscuit for a slim 280, served in a very friendly manner in an idyllic setting. Even a pack of mopeds with Palatinate license plates drove past the table as if on order; this is how you can endure it.

Super delicious food..I haven't eaten so well for a long time..all the dishes on the menu..I can only recommend it and a cozy get-together rounds off the evening!!

We have already stopped by this idyllic house a few times, especially because of the really excellent venison steaks, which are rare to find. Disappointment - not on the menu. The very, very nice waitress was able to remedy that. I got another excellently fried venison steak! We were also allowed to sit at the table we wanted, even though the room is actually reserved for house guests. We'll definitely be back!

Restaurant nice, food very tasty, but.... It could be dusted, at the next table I saw a big cobweb under the chair 🤔 and the windows, including window sills, were all covered in dust.🤔 that's normal in a restaurant not and is a no go.Dear owners, you have to change that, dirt in the restaurant is not welcome

Rating for the restaurant: a good and quieter alternative to the well-known competitor in the Erzgrube. We were here for the first time after the Seeheiner was unexpectedly closed. As a motorcycle group it was easy to park here, had a pleasant atmosphere and a really committed waiter. This was for the entire restaurant alone and on a Sunday with great weather. Poor guy. Due to the lack of staff, the menu was also very reduced. You can find something, but the selection really isn't that big. Apart from the salad buffet, there is nothing vegetarian, and the meat is actually all pork (except for the game dish). Overall, the Jägerhof gets a recommendation from us, but should solve its staffing problems so that waiting times can be reduced and a larger menu can be offered.

We were disappointed. We had reserved for 4 adults and two children + breakfast. Received email, confirms everything is good. We were told the price for the 6 of us and on the day of payment the children had to pay another 7 euros per person for the 4 days. We didn't think it was okay. Because if the breakfast had at least been nice and had a lot of choice, we would have been happy to pay for it. But unfortunately it wasn't like that. There was always the same canned fruit and the same stripped-down supermarket ham, salami, bacon and cheese every four days. The rolls were also home-baked from the discounter and super dry. There was a kind of muesli and a bit of natural yoghurt. Not more. There was a large jam jar on the table that was practically used by us and the predecessors and the successors, not really hygienic. You got eggs the way you wanted them in the morning, that was good and nothing more.In general everything is very old. Definitely needs to be renovated. The restaurant was partly dusty and the windows weren't really clean. The rooms are very, very old and hygiene is also non-existent. We had cobwebs and the upholstered furniture was also dusty with stingrays. We have nothing against old, but that was extreme. I had asked several times for more towels because we were two adults and a child in the room and one large, one medium and one small towel is not enough if all three of us want to shower.The hotel gets two points for the idyllic location and the friendliness of everyone.
