Rarely have we seen so many dogs on a campsite. Good training for your own dog, as many dogs in the fenced areas bark at the fence (not all dog owners intervene). The agility course is really well equipped, so training there is a lot of fun (it would be nice if every dog ​​owner took their four-legged friend's remains with them). If someone is traveling with a tent, screw-on pegs are recommended, as the normal ones cannot hold on to the stony ground. Thanks to our nice neighbors who lent us a few of them along with the cordless screwdriver! The stony ground is also quite destructive to the groundsheet, the stones are very sharp - be sure to pack protective film. Electricity and water connections are available on every second pitch, and here too our neighbors were kind enough to plug in and pass the hose over the fence. The containers with the shower facilities are quite rudimentary. The annual Bulli meeting was on "our" weekend, so the bathrooms weren't really clean - despite daily cleaning in the morning. In addition, they are unisex toilets - everyone should decide for themselves whether that is good or bad. Regarding the noise: the main streets can be heard, yes, but not really annoying - although you shouldn't be there at the Bulli weekend meeting if you want a little more peace and quiet. People like to party until 3:00 a.m. and sleeping in the tent is out of the question until then. Our friendly "complaint" was dismissed with the words "it's an exception", even though there should be quiet from 10 p.m. (that's what the various signs on the square say). We would have stayed relaxed until midnight.Sehestedt is within walking distance, at the water's edge there is a drinks cart with fair prices and a snack cart with really good hamburgers, and the fries were also absolutely delicious. The Deichladen is a little paradise with a great selection, also within walking distance. We didn't try pizza at the campsite, but we heard good things. On Saturday evening there were cocktails, also without alcohol, which we also didn't test. The rolls offered in the morning are baked rolls of good quality, the fact that the bag of rolls costs 10 cents was a bit strange. Regarding the much-praised friendliness of the employees, we can say that the lady at the washhouse was very friendly, the boss(?) at the reception was not at all.It's true that children and dogs are welcome on this site - very nice. Children's laughter is part of it, but we found the four-legged friends' very frequent barking throughout the day and also in the evening and after hours rather annoying.There are certainly many fans of this place, but we will look for something else the next time we want to travel in a pack of 6.

Great campsite, beautifully quiet and located directly on the dike, large tent meadow e.g. for cyclists in transit, check-in around the clock and very friendly staff 👍

We had a country house car that was ok, unfortunately without water but it could be picked up nearby. The parcel was very well fenced in with a dog. The entrance option and the locking mechanism of the fence took some getting used to and was rather temporary. The dog park was free to use and also satisfactory

We were there spontaneously today. (We're just on holiday in Salenburg for a few days). We were warmly welcomed there. We were allowed to see everything spontaneously and decided to go there on Thursday and stay for a few days. I understand the negative reviews Not at all here.The place is very clean.As are the sanitary facilities.The dog meadow with agility equipment is a great playground for every four-legged friend.The road to the beach has very little traffic and is easy to walk.If you prefer to travel by car, you are in 3 minutes to the beach. Parking for the whole day until 10 p.m. only costs €5. If you like simple camping with lovely people, you're in good hands there. The operators are very warm people. If you want to spend a nice time with your dogs, this is the place exactly right. People who like glamping should look for another place.

We stayed here for three nights without a dog... that was our mistake. It's certainly great here with a dog, as there are fences to close off his plot. Not recommended without a dog...Our neighbors and their dog were always standing in our lot because it was a place without a fence. He was on a leash but with a long leash....wasn't that great....The sanitary facilities weren't really clean, there was always a smell of urine and it was often left dirty by the guests. It is cleaned, but it always looks dirty. Toilet paper was the cheapest you could find. A bad feeling when a mistress comes out of the toilet with her dog...The playground was nice, but could also use some TLC.The reception is theoretically staffed in the morning and evening. However, when I wanted to go to the kiosk during opening hours, everything was closed. Despite opening hours...The North Sea is far away, but that wasn't a bad thing in principle...We will probably never come back.

Simply beautiful. Simply great here, very family-friendly and child-friendly as well as dog-friendly. We'll definitely be back

Our short one-night trip was a thoroughly positive experience. We were welcomed very warmly and the overnight stay was pleasant.The campsite is a great spot with lots of nature around it.It was particularly nice to see that dog owners are also welcome there.Highly recommended also with children.We'll be back!

Absolutely suitable for relaxing for a few days.Positive: Relaxed for people and animals, clean sanitary facilities, partially fenced parking spaces, dog agility area, starting point for bicycle toursNegative: Dog walks not so nice, no or poor opportunity to go to or into the waterget.But we would check in again for 2-3 days.

I had three absolutely relaxing and relaxing days at this campsite! I was almost alone on the tent meadow at times and the opportunity to use the laundry room with a stove and coffee machine was great!I can only warmly recommend this place for a relaxed holiday close to nature with your dog!
