A gem in Bad ReichenhallWe were guests at the Hotel Neu Meran for a week. In the pictures on Booking and on the Internet, the hotel appears large and almost impersonal, but when you are in the hotel it appears small, manageable and very personal.The room was perfect: with a balcony and a view of green meadows and also a bit of Bad Reichenhall. The hotel is slightly elevated so that you have a wonderful, wide view. It was sensationally quiet, no traffic, no cars,... nothing!The mattresses were a dream, the cleanliness was perfect, and there was also a kettle with tea. Even in the height of summer (outside: 30° in the shade) the room was sufficiently cool so that we could sleep perfectly.What is special about the Hotel Neu Meran is the cuisine: star class!Mr. Weber is a top chef and the service in the restaurant is highly professional: friendly, competent, reserved.We actually wanted to test the gastronomy in Bad Reichenhall, but then preferred to try Mr. Weber's menu: sensational! No wonder that celebrities have come here too.We'd love to come back.

Perfect alpine lodge with a very good restaurant and balconies with gorgeous views. Lucky I accidentally found it. Will return. Super close to trails (Hochstaufen), Bad Reichenhall, Salzburg. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the experience.

The Hotel Neu Meran in Bad Reichenhall gave us a wonderful stay. The hotel not only impresses with its charming atmosphere, but also with the breathtaking views that you can enjoy from the rooms. The breakfast was rich and delicious – just the right thing to start the day strengthened.Particularly noteworthy is the hotel's perfect location, which makes it an ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area. We arrived with our dog and received an extremely friendly welcome. Dogs are not only tolerated here, but really welcome. We also really enjoyed the nearby dog walks and offer ideal conditions for long walks.All in all, a great place to relax and discover the beauty of the region. We'd love to come back!

We were in the restaurant with a great view of Reichenhall. Just as good was the always friendly and attentive service, which even fulfilled our individual requests for food without any ifs or buts. The food impressed us just as much, so: The walk a little above Reichenhall is definitely worth it! We will be back.

I have just returned from a 1 week stay. The room was very nice, newly furnished. Only the shower cubicle was a bit uncomfortable. Moldy joints and hinges weren't exactly inviting. The service staff is very friendly and helpful. However, I still have to criticize two things. The breakfast is very monotonous, the same 4 types of sausage every day, no fruit or even fresh peppers or cucumbers. Hard baked rolls? On the last morning I was served a plate with 3 slices of sausage and a small planter. If I wanted more, I should get in touch. Sure, the hotel will be on holiday from Monday. There were almost no other guests there, but the breakfast should still be more varied. I also pay the full price. There is no WiFi either. But the wonderful view makes up for it.

My wife and her family have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Great place to decompress and tap into old world Germany. The service is always A++ and the owner/chef is top notch. Great vibe and will return each year.

Unfortunately we only stayed in this hotel for 1 night because we were on our way to Croatia.Very nice hotel, the room is nice the bathroom is nice. The view is superb. And the food in the restaurant is also very tasty.Definitely recommended!

We stayed at the Hotel Neu Meran for a week and felt completely comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was very good and there was a wonderful view. The senior boss knows the area like the back of his hand and therefore always had valuable tips. And the junior boss is a great, helpful person. We will definitely come back.

Hospitable, customer-oriented family hotel.We were a group of 5 couples who decided to take a road trip through southern Germany and Austria.After a long day of driving we arrived at the first stop, hotel Neu Meran where we would stay for 4 nights.The choice of this hotel turned out to be a bull's eye. Why? You hope for a friendly welcome, beautiful rooms with a beautiful view, friendly staff and a good restaurant. This was all the case at Neu Meran.The daughter of the house greeted us on arrival and quickly provided us with the spacious rooms we had booked, which were fully equipped. Ate in the restaurant twice. The pleasure we had at the table was well understood by the service who even responded appropriately. Something that certainly contributed to the pleasant stay.The owner of the hotel is in the kitchen and from time to time also contacted the group to ask whether everything was to their liking, but also to share his childhood experiences with the Netherlands.In terms of service, nothing was too much to ask. Whether this concerned a birthday cake, coffee late in the evening while people were already closing up or a drink on the terrace for which tables had to be moved (which we neatly replaced). “You ask, we deliver” was the motto at Neu Meran.All in all, a great stay in a nice hotel where the owner and his team ensure a pleasant stay, especially through their personal attention to the guests.

Medium but cozy and very clean room. The terrace was large but the bathroom was small, we could only use it one at a time.Very nice staff and fantastic location.The delicious food.We have spent some very good days with our friends :)

We were a total of 10 people (5 married couples) and were completely surprised by the Weber family and employees.Even when we made the reservation, the feeling was quite good, this family knows exactly what their guests are and nothing is too much for them.We had a birthday this week and the staff spontaneously did something special for us.Dear Weber family and employees, we will definitely come by again and thank you very much for the incredibly wonderful week you gave us.Wend, Rob and our friends

Had a fantastic time at this hotel. Very spacious room and bathroom, nice view. Small minus: the skylight had no roller blinds, we were woken up by the first rays of sunshine. The restaurant is very good. And extremely friendly staff. For a birthday, a cake was baked and a bottle of wine was given to the birthday boy upon departure. So sweet! We felt very welcome and would love to come back.
