We stopped here with a group of 43 people to enjoy our dinner after the trip with the “Red Brummer” as the culmination of our day tour. Before we got there, we admired the old monastery vault, the great collection of vehicles, the colonial goods store that was specially opened for us by the boss Peter Runkel (the control center of the old Steffens brewery can also be admired here....) and the bakery in the really delicious bread is baked. Really really great and amazing what there is to see here 👍.Then we went to the restaurant with thousands of walking sticks hanging from the ceiling. Dinner and drinks were served very quickly. The Crewe is great, the food was great, the whole atmosphere is just a dream. I have rarely had such a great evening as I did here. Thank you ❤️

Incredibly beautiful and interesting property with all kinds of stalls, huts and museum pieces. The place is very nice inside and out, cozy, rustic and also spacious. You can also get a place without a reservation. Outside you only get large beers (0.5l), which is absolutely okay and understandable. The fact that some people complain about this is just ridiculous. We only had one meal, the large farmer's salad, and it was really good and plentiful and absolutely worth the money. Our waitress, a Thai-German, was super friendly and funny and very attentive. It was a very successful visit. The six of us were all thrilled.

Nice atmosphere and nice rooms. Unfortunately, the food is not recommended at all for the prices charged. It is also incomprehensible that you can only order 0.5l drinks on the terrace. Also be careful when paying by card – not all cards are accepted.

Today we were here in the beer garden to linger during a very nice hike. The service was very friendly and attentive. The Kellerbier 0.5 liter was my first choice. The sauerbratentasted more like so-so. When I wanted to order a second beer, this time a small one, I was told that there were only large ones. According to the menu, however, there are both 0.25 and 0.50 beers. So a good recommendation for a break and a nice beer.

Nice beer garden, nice inn and service also good. But prices are too high for a brewery and no card payment... Then we only drank a little and probably won't come back.
