Very good location, breakfast sufficient and tasty, the service and tips from Mr. Seidler are top. You can also buy cool drinks in the guesthouse. The only disadvantage is that the rooms are very noisy.

We were guests in the house for 2 days and felt completely comfortable. The room is functional and absolutely clean.The beds were really good, so you had a restful sleep.The breakfast was lovingly prepared by Mr. Seidler - we didn't miss anything!A special compliment for Mr. Seidler: He always had valuable tips and was a very friendly host!

Basic but clean and comfortable pension in Mittenwald, a good base for walking in the Bavarian mountains. Friendly and helpful owner. Good shower. Basic but very adequate breakfast. Recommended. Mittenwald very easy to get to with Bavaria's fantastic transport system.

Mr. Seidler was very friendly and accommodating and responded to our requests and questions immediately. We were picked up from the train station and brought back again.The breakfast was very tasty. The location was well suited for quick access to great hiking trails.

I have nothing to complain about. Absolutely nothing. On the contrary. The reception was really nice and saying goodbye was really difficult for me, which is why I decided to take a walk and enjoy the sunset one last time.The room was great and the breakfast was also very generous.I really fell in love with the place with its many nice people. One thing is certain for me: I'll be back. In winter or spring at the latest. I'm really looking forward to that 😊

Very unreliable!Two days before we left, Mr. Bernd Seidler canceled our room.He wouldn't have gotten it free.An outrage.He was probably able to rent it out to others for a few days longer.So, for everyone who wants to book there. Mr. Seidler sometimes cancels your booking at short notice.You don't do that when you run a hotel or guesthouse professionally.Very unreliable!

A traditional bavarian home, run by a lovable german grandpa and grandma, the location is perfect, just outside the center, and closer to hiking routes entrances, we were a family of three, and we had the best 5 days of our 2 weeks vacation

Very nice house. Everything is fine for us. Great room with private bathroom. Rich breakfast. Many sights are within walking distance. Karwendelbahn and the Kranzbergbahn are easily accessible.Thank you Mr. Seidler for many good tips... what should be explored.We have now been to the Alpenhof four times and will definitely come back.

Well located, clean, cozy guesthouse. The Seidler family goes to great lengths to ensure that you don't lack for anything. There was even a bottle of water in the room and a bedtime treat on the pillow. The breakfast was also very tasty.

Slept here for two nights. Even though everything was fully booked, I was offered a small room. Everything was perfect for me. The Alpenhof is run with a lot of heart and love, thank you for your hospitality.

Arrange :-((June 2023If you are planning a relaxed start to your vacation, then avoid this accommodation!! I had already booked a room with a balcony in this guesthouse months before, which was confirmed to me at the landlord's request. Since I never attach great importance to the size of the rooms when planning my vacation, the use of a balcony was very important to me. One day before my arrival I contacted the owner of the guesthouse again to announce myself for the next day and everything seemed to correspond to my reservation. On site it suddenly looked completely different!!! A room was reserved, but without a balcony and if I insisted on it, then of course I could immediately look for new accommodation, but Mittenwald would be full (original tone from the landlord). I found what I was looking for the next day, but it cost me another day of my vacation. Without any goodwill, the bill was presented to me and I had to pay the amount that I would have paid with a balcony. Conclusion: If there was a rating here with 0 stars, then I would have entered zero!!! I wish you a nice stay in Mittenwald, because the place is really beautiful, but leave the "Alpenhof" out of your vacation plans - it's not worth it!!

Time stopped here in the 70s. The interior and charm of the Alpenhof take you on a journey back in time to the 1970s. Since then, hardly anything has been done visually, apart from the small flat screen. It's clean and the breakfast is really great. Centrally located, an overnight stay for the price is really unbeatable!An absolutely nice host rounds off the overall picture positively. If you're still thirsty for a nightcap beer in the evening, you can help yourself to the fridge and write down your room number, choosing from various Bavarian beers.Overall, an insider tip for Mittenwald!
