We celebrated a bachelorette party on beautiful Ottersburg and had a fantastic weekend. The welcome from Mr. Kobe was more than warm. He helped us with all our wishes (dishes/tablecloths/tables/benches) and questions (taxi/catering) and also gave us an unforgettable afternoon in his shooting cinema. The Sunday breakfast in the wonderful ambience of the manor house was plentiful and a successful conclusion. The holiday apartments have tastefully furnished common areas, the standard of the bedrooms and bathrooms is rather rustic - but that didn't bother us when we stayed overnight.

We celebrated our long-planned wedding on June 25, 2022. Since this is an old barn with no inventory (apart from a few beer tent sets), it took a lot of work and hard work with all of our friends to create a location just as we imagined it. Tables, chairs, lights, etc... Unfortunately, Mr. Kobe didn't understand that such an event takes some time to prepare. So in the 3 days before the party there were repeated comments from the landlord like, please don't use so much electricity, please don't drive on the lawn, please not so loud, it would be enough for him if the music was loud on Saturday. The fact that we paid a lot of money for the location was unfortunately forgotten. On the day of the celebration, things happened as they had to. After the music played for about an hour, the neighbors stood at the door because the music was too loud for them (measured 55 dB!!!) In a reasonable conversation, we informed the residents that we are only tenants of this location, The music is not too loud and she would like to contact the landlord. For the reasons mentioned, we cannot recommend the Gutshof Ottersburg for any celebrations. Oh well, the road across the estate is public (in case the bikers want to come by again) and the toilet still takes some getting used to.

Unfortunately we were received very unfriendly and harshly at the estate today. We took a break on the motorcycle and wanted to take a look at the estate so that we could possibly use it as a starting point for another vacation. However, we changed our minds after the reception. It is neither marked as private property nor is it obvious that you are not allowed to enter the estate. There is a need to catch up here, otherwise it will scare away even more potential guests.

Very idyllic old hunting property in the countryside. The owners go to great lengths, especially with the generous breakfast. Ideal for small groups who want to relax in the countryside.
