Warm environment with great apartmentsAfter a large number of holidays with the Bauer family, it is difficult to know where to start with a review - there is so much!The Ferienhof Bauer in the Bavarian Forest offers great holiday apartments in a very idyllic location. Both the “old” and the “new” apartments are furnished in a timeless, modern way and contain everything you need. At the same time, the apartments offer enough space so that even the children can pass the time in the apartment when the weather is bad. You simply feel comfortable in the apartments and at the latest after the second day you feel at home.The farm itself offers everything a child could desire, a playground with a sandpit, slide, swing, ... - in summer there is also a pool as an extension. If the weather is bad, there is a play barn where children can use their imagination for hours. And then, the most important thing for the children – the animals. Whether sheep, rabbits, cows and calves as well as ponies and horses - they all make our children's hearts beat faster. The special highlights here are of course the every evening rides, as well as the feeding and milking of the cows/calves (and don't worry if you have no idea about riding yourself - so far there have always been other lovely holiday guests or the Bauer family on site to help with this support).This means a relaxing holiday with lots of relaxation for the parents too. After just a few hours, the children are playing with the other children present and you have time to talk, read,... In the evening, if you feel like it, you can sit down with like-minded people on the terrace or in the common room and have a glass of water, juice, wine or beer end the day.Finally, the most important thing – the Bauer family with its four generations. Such “host parents” are very rare. No matter what you need, they are there to help and advise, be it for planning excursions the next day, recommending restaurants (very important - the inn in Lindberg - fantastically good steaks in a classic Bavarian tavern atmosphere - only recommended), ... In summary, you can say that with the Bauer family you are not a customer but a guest, and that is exactly what makes this farm what it is.We are definitely looking forward to our next vacation with the Bauer family,Hansjakob family.

The Bauer family runs this farm with a lot of passion and always has an open ear or advice for their guests. Ideal for families with small children as there are many opportunities to play, regardless of the weather. Children have very close contact with the animals here if they want to. Cows, calves, horses, rabbits and cats are there to see and touch. Very nicely located for excursions.

We are super happy here. Everyone is super nice and especially children friendly. I can only recommend it. The children can play here until they fall into bed in the evening. The Bauer family is super nice and accommodating. The apartment is super clean and very, very large. We would definitely come back.

We had a very nice holiday with the Bauer family. The farm and the holiday apartments are superbly furnished and equipped. The animals, the play barn and the large area are wonderful for small children to run around in. Parents can relax with a beautiful view of the mountains.

This Easter was the third time we went to the Bauer family's adventure farm. Although the weather was still quite cool at times, it didn't affect our relaxation or the fun for the children. My girls are 9 and 12 years old, the farm is “like their second home”. Thank God they didn't jump out of the moving car right away, but as soon as the car stopped, open the door and go!This year we stayed in the Bergsonne apartment, for us the most beautiful apartment with a view over the courtyard and the meadows. Ideal for 4 people.The children were busy all day grooming horses, riding horses, walking them, braiding manes, petting rabbits, petting goats, exploring the play barn and working in the stable in the evenings.We parents relaxed at the barbecue area or in the common room or went for short walks in the nearby area.The Bavarian Forest is of course an ideal excursion destination, but also the treetop path, various summer toboggan runs or the zoo in Lohberg.The entire Bauer family is very hospitable and warm, you immediately feel at home here.We'll be back, the promised Kaiserschmarrn hasn't been forgotten.

Went there with friends and children (4-15 years) for a week during the Easter holidays. Everything was perfect, super nice owners. There was something for all ages. Play barn, Kettcars and especially the ponies.

Ferienhof Bauer is a beautiful farm in a great location. Surrounded by meadows and mountains, you can switch off and unwind as soon as you arrive. The children never get bored: they can help out in the cowshed, ride the ponies at any time or visit the goats and chickens. The cats also enjoy every stroke. If the weather isn't so good, there is enough space and opportunities to run around in the play barn. There is also variety for rainy days in the games cellar.The holiday apartments are spacious and attractively furnished, very clean and all have a balcony. There is a common room where all guests enjoy meeting and spending many wonderful hours together.The Bauer families (junior and senior) are very warm, helpful at all times and look forward to any contact with their guests. Fun barbecue evenings together are not uncommon ;-)If you want to spend a nice time on a great farm, this is the right place for you!
