Spreewald-Idyll

We booked the guesthouse for a weekend trip.It was important to us to experience the Spreewald atmosphere, and we definitely achieved that 👍🏼 The location of the accommodation is great, you can explore the city center on foot, various boat rentals are within walking distance and there are plenty of places to eat nearby (also open on Sundays) . If you don't want to go boating yourself, you can take a boat ride at the “Small Harbor” or experience nature on a walk through the castle park. Either way, you are in the middle of nature and can enjoy the peace and quiet both during the day and at night.The owners of the Spreewald Idyll are super warm and try to accommodate all your wishes. When we arrived, we were given the key directly by the owner and shown everything we needed. A dedicated parking lot directly opposite avoids the problem of paid parking spaces in the area.Breakfast is small but nice and you can find everything you need. Having breakfast outside in summer is so nice!I deducted 2 stars from the rooms. They are big enough, you have everything you need. I have to complain that the windows on the ground floor cannot be opened. The small upper window can be tilted, but it's not enough in the hot summers! The room gets stuffy very quickly and you can't get the heat from the day out of the room. Bad for sleeping, you have to look for a solution! The upper rooms apparently have windows that can be opened.A water bottle in the room would be nice, and the bathroom sink could have been a little cleaner. A few more shelves or shelves in the bathroom would also be good. But these are all just small comments, the most important thing is the windows.WiFi worked great.The rustic atmosphere didn't bother us.I would recommend it for a short trip! 👍🏼

You can already see the years on him. But it's a good overnight stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The weather was nice and we were able to have breakfast outside. Where do you get that?

I can fully recommend the Spreewaldidyll. The owners are very friendly. The service very good. Our room was a bit cool because it was on the north side, but that's fine in the summer.

Could hardly be more central.Still super quiet.Price performance is simply bombastic!

We spontaneously got accommodation here for one night and were given a very friendly welcome. An extra bed for our 4-year-old son was no problem. The rooms are modern and spacious, everything is within walking distance. We felt comfortable and would choose the Spreewald idyll again. thank you very much

Good food at fair prices, recommended

Was eating there. The fish platter was good with very different fish and sitting in the garden is also very pleasant and relaxed.

Good location to the small and large harbor.Bicycle garage and car parking space included.House is getting old.Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Nice room, friendly staff.

Here you can eat and drink very well, especially typical Spreewald dishes. The staff is very friendly and fulfills almost all wishes.
