Already in May 2024 we had the problem that BLACK MOLD (is EXTREMELY HARMFUL even for people WITHOUT previous illnesses!) had spread in our room. The receptionist at the time didn't hesitate and promptly gave us another room in the Santa Isabell and that was it fixed this problem for now. When we received the text message on Tuesday (September 24th, 2024 at 2:14 p.m.) that our room (which we chose when booking early because of the quiet location in our favorite hotel) was ready, we were happy and quickly unpacked our suitcases, showered and We had to move because the Tyrolean wild water ride had taken a toll on us.When I entered the room, my husband (he has COPD and allergic asthma) immediately noticed that his voice was thick and his throat was scratchy. Since he can see almost NOTHING without his glasses, he went to take a shower and he became more and more uncomfortable. After drying off and then wearing glasses again, we saw the problem.Again, multiple affected areas with black mold. You don't want to see pictures of the dimensions...So we complained to the reception and we were promised that they would take care of it and find a solution. The mold itself is known and a company has already been hired to eliminate the problem in November (crazy thing!!)We went to the Pakr and when we came back later we were offered to spend the first night in the royal suite of the El Andaluz, we just had to sleep there and tomorrow we would get a new room, we still had to clarify where.Since we were dead tired and exhausted, we accepted the offer and moved for the night. My husband hardly got any sleep there (we are happy to send the sleep recordings from his Smartwacth upon request (2 hours 50 minutes: from 4:47 a.m. to 7:59 a.m.) because of the noise from the lobby it was almost impossible to sleep. We also told the lady at the reception on September 25th, 24, where we had breakfast in the Santa Isabell (our favorite hotel because it was small, quiet, dignified), and she apologized and told us that we could move into a standard room in the El Andaluz (showed us the location on the plan (we agreed) and she paid us the difference of €100 in cash and assured us:We get a fridge, two bathrobes and the option to have breakfast at Santa Isabell, since we would be there officially. She would arrange and deposit everything. However, it would take some time until the room was ready as it was still THOROUGHLY checked and cleaned. We should just leave our bags/suitcases packed at 5409 in Santa Isabell and they would take care of it.At around 11:09 a.m. (WOW!!!) the text came that we could move into our new room. So we left Europa Park (we actually wanted to go to Rulantica that day (we swapped the tickets for Thursday), were greeted at the reception by Mr. Treuner and asked whether we had a good journey (???? we were 3 minutes away . walked from Isabell to Andaluz, were a bit irritated by the question, got the room cards and) went into the room and unpacked the bags. We discovered that one of the sun blinds was broken. We then complained about this when we went out to the park and wanted to FINALLY have a vacation, fun, distraction, everything that the advertising "DREAMY STAY IN A 4 STAR SUPERIOR HOTEL" and the "EXPERIENCE TIME TOGETHER" advertise. So much for the theory! At 1:49 p.m. the receptionist called me on my cell phone and said that the technicians couldn't repair the blind and that an out-of-town company would fix it in November. We said, OK, and received two vouchers for a drink at the bar in our room. Now the vacation should FINALLY begin (for which we paid almost €1000. When we walked barefoot in the room after the park, black socks then turned into "white hodgepodge" socks, there was hair, dust, crumbs, simply EVERYTHING that an (announced SPECIAL cleaning and CHECK would not have been possible
