Home-style guesthouse with a very nice landlady. Large rooms, reasonably equipped. Separate breakfast room with very rich breakfast and daily surprises. Seating in front of the rooms and in the garden. Sufficient parking spaces for guests. There is also a kitchenette with drinks and a refrigerator for guests, as well as a microwave and dishes.

And at the end of the street there's a house on the... canalLocation is perfect. Quiet because it's a dead end. Breakfast very good. Ms. Scherz wears her heart on her sleeve and we had a good time. It's rustic on the property and very familiar.

We would like to thank our host, Ms. Scherz. We were surprised every morning with a very nice breakfast. It was always very plentiful and there was something delicious every day 😋. Thank you very much to the Bayer family from Bernburg.

Went to the Pension Scherz for the first time for a weekend vacation with friends.Location of the guesthouse is good, rooms are a bit old but completely okay, use of the garden included.Drinks fridge is always FULL of cold drinks ;-)Breakfast was so highly praised in the reviews, we thought it was normal but rich!With her own style, Ms. Scherz is not easy for everyone to take, but I found her to be direct and honest.

Basically no complaint. However, even as a backpacker you have to book at least two days. So it's better to book for the weekend and enjoy the city. And yes, we would come back at any time.

Top price/performance. Best breakfast in the district. Rooms clean and functional. Long great for exploring the surrounding area. Bicycles were reserved for us in advance at the Vogi bike shop. Ms. Scherz is always in the mood for a joke.

We stayed there for four nights in mid-June and are very satisfied ☺️Very nice hostess, the "breakfast room" is something different - very nicely implemented, we liked it :)Breakfast top!! Rich selection and good tasting coffee in its own warming pot 😊The room with a nice seating area and the bathroom were very clean.The upper four rooms are accessible via a long balcony where a small table + two comfortable chairs including insoles are available in front of each room.We were very happy to take advantage of this offer and were able to end the day every day in a beautiful, quiet location in the evening sun 😊There are also several tables with comfortable seating including shade in the garden next to the breakfast hut.There is also a small common room with a small kitchenette including a kettle, microwave and large refrigerator.The refrigerator was well stocked with various drinks where you can help yourself at any time with an entry in a tally list.I would have loved to take the cuddly cat who, if you were lucky, joined you in the evening with me ☺️Conclusion: if we end up in the Spreewald again - we would be happy to come back ☺️

We received a very warm welcome here. The rooms are comfortably furnished. The breakfast is more than plentiful and every morning we were surprised with a different treat. Thank you very much Ms. Scherz, it was a very pleasant week. We'd love to come back.

Highly recommended, accommodation neat and nicely furnished, quiet location near the center, for paddlers with a very good starting point. Polite and kind hosts, also happy to joke around. Breakfast is awesome. Would love to come back.

Quiet, family location with WiFi and monitored parking. The Scherz family is very friendly. The rooms are very nicely furnished with a TV, coffee machine and there are cold drinks. Everything with plenty of delicious breakfast.

We were thrilled! A great guesthouse in the countryside and close to the city center. The rooms are clean and spacious, the service is great and the breakfast was first class! I have rarely eaten so well and every day there was a different additional treat:) Even the little ones were pampered here. A very big thank you goes to the boss, she wears her heart on her sleeve and does everything to make her guests feel comfortable - and we do too!If we go on holiday in the Spreewald again, we will stay at Pension Scherz.
