Disappointing experience at Biggersee youth hostelUnfortunately, our stay at the Biggersee youth hostel was anything but pleasant. The staff at reception, in property management and at the food service were consistently unfriendly and unhelpful. One incident illustrates the negative atmosphere particularly well: an 11-year-old child in our group accidentally dropped his schnitzel during the stressful process of serving food. Instead of giving him a new meal without discussion, he was loudly and rudely told to wait until the end of the serving. The reason? The schnitzel “just fell on the ground, where you walk on with street shoes and not outside in the sand.” A questionable argument – who would still eat that? The rooms also left a lot to be desired. They were poorly ventilated and had an unpleasant smell. When we checked out, we were then accused of leaving the rooms untidy, even though we made every effort to put away bed linen and towels properly and leave the rooms tidy.Overall, our stay here was very disappointing. Friendliness and service should be a given in a youth hostel - unfortunately that wasn't the case here.

Everything is right here!!!I have never experienced such good food in a JH, thanks to the fantastic kitchen team.Everyone there was sooo friendly, so loving, so “tongue in cheek”.Umberto, the caretaker is a dream. Always there, always friendly.Cleaning took place in the background every day.Daniela and the entire reception team did a really good job.We always enjoy coming here!

The rooms are mostly clean, but the beds are very uncomfortable to sleep in. The staff at the cafeteria in the morning are very unfriendly. Everyone constantly complains. Drinks are overpriced at €3 for a Powerade when the machine even works. The snack machine was ok in my opinion, but for the Muslims among us there should be more vegan stuff in the vending machines the attractions are completely ok tennis courts and chessboard are very useful the great view while playing tennis is great but you have to say that the man could have tried harder in the *pippy lounge* water is dripping on the ceiling down and everything is completely soaked as you can easily see in the pictures. Holes in the wall are also a big problem. There is water damage everywhere on the ceiling, which will later cause a fungus to form there.

I was there with my class and it was so good. Rooms are dirty, unfriendly staff, you usually get a stomach ache after eating, prices are too expensive (e.g. Powerade 2.90)And you can't even open the windows properly because they're locked for whatever reason. We paid 300 euros per person, which is a hefty sum. But it's not worth 300 euros because you have to clean almost everything yourself. not recommended at all

We stayed there with our running group for 4 nights. The location is great for many different sports. The rooms are simple, but are completely sufficient. We booked full board including lunch. The food exceeded all expectations. In addition to the warm dish, there was a salad buffet every day, it was extremely varied and requests such as vegetarian and vegan were catered for. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired.
