Great. The location is perfect. The great historic house is clean and cozy. You feel like you're at home. You can also have a nice and cozy evening on the terrace. Mr. Weber tells great stories about Monschau and his house, which has been preserved for generations, and gives good tips for the hiking trails :). The breakfast is lovingly prepared and tastes very good. It's a 3-minute walk from the center and there's parking right in front of the door. The view is just as beautiful.Unfortunately we had to shorten our vacation, but we'll be back :)

I would like to highly recommend this holiday home in Monschau! The location is simply fantastic, embedded in a picturesque landscape and yet close to the historic city center of Monschau. The house itself is a perfect retreat, lovingly furnished and offers all the comfort you could wish for a relaxing holiday.The spacious and bright rooms, which were designed with great attention to detail, are particularly impressive. The bedrooms are cozy and invite you to have a restful night. The bathrooms are modern and very clean, which makes the stay particularly pleasant.The outdoor areas are just as appealing - a well-kept garden and a terrace invite you to linger and enjoy nature. The peace and the beautiful view are priceless.The holiday home in Monschau is not only ideal for couples and families, but also for anyone looking for a break from everyday life. The service and on-site support were also excellent – friendly, courteous and always helpful.In short: a stay in this holiday home guarantees relaxation and unforgettable memories. I will gladly come again!

The three of us booked the "Nähkiste" for a 5-day sibling vacation in Monschau. We consciously decided against a hotel and in favor of the charm of an old residential and farm building with history. The description on the internet matched it exactly and we felt at home straight away. The lack of a "modern" ambience was richly compensated for: our landlord, Mr. Weber, always took great care of us and knew how to enrich our stay with excursion tips and stories about the house and its history. In addition, the beautiful view of Monschau, the central location and the sun-drenched kitchen (weather permitting) at breakfast time were real highlights. The charm of this historic cottage is something very special. We apply for ensemble protection for both the house and the landlord ;-) and say THANK YOU!

Bed&Breakfast rooms in a historic building at affordable prices in a prime location with a great breakfast. Run by a true Monschauer with attention to detail and good recommendations about the history of the place and its bars/restaurants.
