For three days we enjoyed an extraordinary overnight accommodation on the 4 hectare natural property on which it is locatedThere is always something new, surprising and curious to discover. Sylvi and Hans continue to design their treehouse hostel with a lot of passion. They are just as committed to looking after the guests' well-being, have tips and an open ear. The tree houses are oases of peace in the treetops of old oak trees. Rustling leaves, raindrops, birds chirping - we were able to experience all of this in Bockhop in mid-October 2024.Even a rainy day didn't spoil the good mood. A long breakfast in the tree house by the warm wood stove, a siesta in the four-poster bed enriched the short tip. We particularly enjoyed the warm outdoor shower and the large whirlpool in the garden. It's a great place to relax there in the evenings. An infrared sauna is also part of the outdoor spa area. A camping feeling arises in the communicative communal outdoor kitchen. Numerous seats, sometimes sunny, sometimes shady, invite you to read, chat and laze around. We would like to come back, also because we are curious about the third tree house that is under construction.

Just beautiful. Hans and Silvia are great hosts. Everything is furnished with a lot of love and taste. A huge enchanted garden and peace and relaxation can be found here. The whirlpool and sauna with warm outdoor shower were a real experience. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to both of you.

One of the most beautiful places for peace and relaxation. A lovingly landscaped, enchanted garden with plenty of space to rest but also to explore, the tree houses are very tastefully furnished, ingenious outdoor cuisine invites you to experiment, a wellness area with sauna and whirlpool as well as a rain shower in the middle of the greenery gives you a wonderfully natural feel Feeling. On my birthday there was even cake and champagne☺️. Breakfast in the in-house kitchen gives you a feeling of being at home, as if you were coming home. Our time out in the Solitaire tree house was really nice. We had an incredibly relaxing weekend with an idyllic location and super romantic moments in the spa area under the stars. Wow! We were completely impressed by the loving furnishings with charm and style. In addition, these great, friendly, funny hosts Silvi and Hans, all the roommates from sheep to dogs rounded off this gem. Pure nature! The breakfast was great. The ambience alone is worth it, with music and candlelight. The offer leaves nothing to be desired. Oven fresh rolls straight from the baker and then the time the owner of the house takes is priceless. Thank you, thank you for everything and you. We'll be happy to come back when the third house is finished. And as already mentioned so often, the location is unique, in the middle of nowhere you have created a wonderful paradise! We recently stayed there as part of a business trip and bridged a day off with two nights. In the circus wagon! What a good decision! That was a really relaxing, little mini vacation in a class of its own! The circus wagon is located a bit out of the way in the middle of the countryside... cozy-romantic-quaint-lonely-quiet-green is the best way to describe it! The whole area is wonderful, a small park in the middle of the forest, that's how you feel. Everywhere there is something to discover and retreat and enjoy peace and quiet.The hosts are two very warm-hearted and hard-working people who put all their effort into looking after everyone so that their guests have a good time! We grilled in the outdoor kitchen, everything is there too, dishes/spices/oil/vinegar, you just bring your grilled food! We booked breakfast, luckily! A large selection, something for everyone. The host himself takes care of coffee and even more of his guests.Book breakfast as well, it's really an experience! And the treehouse hostel is also recommended with a whole ♥! It's such a shame we couldn't stay longer... But we'll be back!!

Here comes my first Google review. There is certainly always something to complain about in everyday experiences, but the Baumhaus Herberge Bockholt was and has been a particularly beautiful experience for me.Therefore, you should give it due consideration!Absolute deceleration across the board, packaged in a unique environment.Actually, I just wanted to stay in a real tree house but it was so much more.Great hosts, impressive tree houses, wellness with infrared sauna, outdoor jacuzzi with stars in the sky and lots of opportunities to sit and enjoy nature.You should pack a few barbecue items for the outdoor kitchen.Otherwise, the exclusive breakfast is so rich and individual that it can last the whole day.I'm thrilled and can only recommend it to anyone who wants to climb up in order to be able to come down.I wish you continued nice guests.LG Robert

An excellent experience!I gave my wife this wonderful gift for her anniversary. Two nights in pure nature, beautiful surroundings and a beautiful tree house.This treehouse has definitely stuck with us and we are still fascinated by how precisely and beautifully everything was built.The temperatures were very cool on those days and we were able to enjoy the sauna and whirlpool perfectly.The warm fireplace and the light dripping of rain on the tree house seemed very relaxing and cozy.The breakfast was lovingly prepared and you immediately looked forward to the next breakfast because there was a lot to choose from, delicious eggs, wonderful rolls and first-class coffee.The quality here was definitely perfect.Very happy again!

We had two wonderful days with Silvia and Hans in their beautiful tree house. A wonderful place to unwind and switch off from everyday life. Very great hosts and very beautiful, lovingly furnished tree houses. Everything corresponds to the pictures and the descriptions. Highly recommended, you feel much closer to nature.

It was uniquely beautiful! You arrive there and can really shake off all the stresses of everyday life right outside the gate and enter a different world where you can just relax and unwind! The tree house is beautiful with great attention to detail, the hosts are super friendly and helpful and the complex is unique, with an incredible amount to discover, with lovingly designed retreats here and there. So nice that we booked the next overnight stay immediately after the really delicious breakfast! Many thanks to the great hosts! It's great that there are still people with visions!

It is a wonderful place, perfect for unwinding. Complete peace and no inner compulsion to do any activity. The garden is huge and there are many corners to be alone. We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday with our children (long grown), my sister and her daughter. We had the whole garden and the accommodations to ourselves and felt very comfortable. Both the tree houses and the circus wagon are perfect and comfortable. The service (by Hans) cannot be beat. We learned a lot about nature and tree houses from him. A really entertaining host.We didn't miss anything. We also used and enjoyed the outdoor shower, sauna and whirlpool.Many thanks to our hosts. This weekend was one of the highlights that we will never forget.

In July 2024 we stayed in the treehouse hostel for one night. Silvi and Hans are super nice. We were greeted very nicely.We stayed in the Solitaire tree house, it is extremely beautifully furnished with attention to detail. The spa area with the sauna and the whirlpool is simply great; when it slowly gets dark, it is a real oasis of well-being. We really enjoyed our time (even if it was short).
