Halfway through our short vacation at the Hotel Seesteg on Norderney. My wife and I have been completely thrilled since we arrived at the Seesteg. Warm, very loving welcome, fantastically beautiful room with terrace (loft). The breakfast was amazing and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. You have to register for the private spa, but you then have the sauna all to yourself and can also go directly from the SPA to the roof pool... 2 hours of private wellness with your loved one... we really like that. We also enjoyed dinner...many more surprises made our hearts skip a beat; listing all the highlights would go beyond the scope of this article. Of course, you can expect all of this in this price range and with the corresponding announcement. But getting everything implemented in this way requires a high level of commitment and then as a guest you feel like queen and king. Many thanks to the entire Seesteg team!!

My stay in this hotel was simply fantastic. I had the pleasure of spending a week in a beautiful suite with breathtaking sea views! The meal was a true culinary experience, accompanied by exquisite wines prepared by star chef Markus Kebschull. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable. This hotel is definitely top notch and I highly recommend it. Many thanks to the brothers Marc and Jens Brune and the entire team at “Seesteg” and “Haus am Meer” hotels for a great welcome and a super cool stay!I can fully recommend these two hotels and am very grateful to have been able to enjoy such an excellent stay with great encounters on the North Sea.

We had dinner at Seesteg and unfortunately I have to say that I wonder where the star comes from. The service was very friendly, but in terms of attention, I'm used to something different from starred restaurants. For example, we had to fill our wine glass ourselves and then fetch our jackets ourselves. For the main course, the vegetables were burnt and placed burnt side down. Main course was salt marsh lamb saddle AND leg. But I only had one piece of meat on my plate. Starter and dessert were ok.Overall, rather disappointing for a star restaurant.

We were just there for a “quick” tea at Seesteg and totally loved it. We received such a warm welcome and will definitely come back - then for a longer stay. The ambience is incredibly beautiful. Highly recommended. :-)

The style of the hotel is definitely a Relais & Chateaux standard (we have been traveling to these houses all over the world for over 20 years), but the unrepresentative entrance and small reception table seem …
