It is beautiful here, the breakfast is lovingly prepared and our room is comfortable and clean. The island is also very beautiful. A great mix of nature, peace and culture and conviviality.

I always enjoy coming here. I really like the rooms in the back building upstairs. They don't have a huge bathroom, but they are very comfortable and quiet. But there are also larger rooms with larger bathrooms. The staff is friendly and the service is great :)

We went on vacation to Hiddensee in June. We came across the Pension Inselidyll by chance, read a little on the internet before booking and were fortunately guided by the positive reviews when deciding on the house. To say it straight away: We were absolutely satisfied and can only recommend the accommodation. We found it a big plus that check-in was possible at 10 a.m. The arrival itself becomes a full-fledged vacation day. The guesthouse is located away from the tourist crowds. The harbor, cliffs and beach, island market, restaurant, etc. can be reached on foot in no time. Our room was functionally furnished, comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast surprised us with its variety. We didn't expect that from a house of this size. Particularly noteworthy are the delicious homemade jams and the Hiddensee wild sausage. We found the hosts to be very friendly and active; They were close to the guests without being intrusive. We were able to easily extend our stay by one night. And after we forgot something in the room after departure, it was sent to us immediately - without charging for postage. For and one thing is certain: we will be back.

I stayed in the island idyll for one night because my guest house was occupied for another day.I couldn't have imagined what I would experience there. I did something that seemed completely blatant...I had placed the heavy handcart, filled to the brim with valuable material for the upcoming seminar, under the carport next to the bicycle and the lawnmower.When I found him completely soaked on the way from the house the next morning, I looked for the person responsible.Who could have done something so senseless and evil?I'll keep it short.It was the host himself who completely escalated when I asked: “How could anyone come up with such an idea?”He not only shouted but also insulted me. Finally he threatened me physically.Since he was carrying a lot of weight and was clearly no longer in control of himself, I got scared and tried to talk to the owner.That didn't help at all either.It was a grotesque situation and even the rich breakfast prepared by the employee could not change the absurdity of the situation.She put the bill down and I couldn't shake the feeling that a lot of money had to be paid for a terrible experience.Therefore my urgent request:Only give your money to the people on Hiddensee who really appreciate you as guests.There are countless friendly hostel mothers and fathers.You are better off with anyone else!

Small bed and breakfast. Clean rooms. Nice hosts and breakfast fairy. The house is located on the edge of Kloster, about 8 minutes from the harbor, in an extremely quiet area. I'll be back.

August 2020, absolutely not recommended, very unfriendly landlord. Price-performance doesn't fit at all.We stayed in a room on the upper floor of the annex. The room was absolutely unsuitable for normal-sized people, a very, very small bathroom and beds that had no creak at all. The landlady had let us run wild and made it clear in the smallest possible way that she would try to find a solution.Always happy to visit the island of Hiddensee, but never with such a miserable host

Charming accommodation in the northeastern part of the island (monastery). Here you don't feel the rush of visitors to the centers so much, so you can enjoy your stay. Lighthouse, beach, high-altitude hiking trail,...everything is easy to reach. Breakfast buffet is rich and the service is great. Thank you for the pleasant days
