Absolutely excellent restaurant, cozy atmosphere, very good food and super friendly staff.

We stayed at the Eschenstübel for three nights, which is very well located and has a beautiful garden. However, to put it simply, the room was just dirty from A to Z. There isn't even a mattress protector in the bed, so you'll lose everything just by lifting the sheet. The boss couldn't give an answer to the question whether there were no mattress protectors in the Eschenstübel, she at least gave a second bed sheet as a replacement.There is a strong smell of uncleanliness in the bathroom. The outside of the toilet bowl was covered in streaks of urine. You don’t want to touch the outside of the sink either. The inside of the sink hasn't even been wiped dry and isn't really clean, the towels are already hanging on the hook so you have to ask yourself how long they've been hanging and who has already used them. The tiles are full of splashes, corners and edges of the floor - no one has bent down to clean them for a long time. The shower drain stinks and will soon barely let any water through. The toilet paper holder is dirty, the toilet brush and its container are just disgusting and so is the trash can. Even the hangers stick. The stains from previous users are covered with runners on the coffee table and the small table in the kitchen. The refrigerator was unplugged and when we opened the door, dirty condensation water came out of the uncleaned refrigerator. I first had to clean the most important things myself in order to survive the three nights here in the dirt. I'll save myself from writing what else there is to complain about in the kitchen other than the disgustingly dirty sink, it's just sad. I think you've made a high-quality investment in the room furnishings, but if you don't clean it all goes to waste and the guest is dissatisfied. The food in the evening is nothing special but it fits, nothing more and nothing less. The breakfast is acceptable even if it is allocated and you get apple juice and eggs regardless of whether you want them or not. Unfortunately, the boss didn't even ask if everything was okay, which shows a clear lack of interest in the guest. Overall, unfortunately for us it doesn't need to be repeated and it was a huge failure in terms of booking.

On August 17th, 2024 we spent the most beautiful day, our wedding, in the beautifully located Eschenstübel with all our guests. We would like to thank the Mittenzwei family and their excellent service team very much for their loving and warm hospitality. From the very beginning it was a wonderful day in the restaurant and in the adjacent beer garden, which we were able to enjoy with our guests. The wonderful home-style cooking, home-baked cakes, the varied evening offerings and the snacks in between were a pleasure for all of us. We would like to recommend this family-run restaurant to all readers and wish the Mittenzwei family and their employees all the best and many more successful years. We would be happy to come back, best regards

Absolute insider tip.Food is absolutely great.Super friendly staff.You should order because it's very busy.We haven't tested the rooms yet, but there's certainly nothing to complain about there either. A totally well-kept property, that says it all. Highly recommended.

We went here for dinner on a Wednesday.After we drove through the residential area, we were really amazed at what happened next. It was really idyllic.Parking could be difficult. We were lucky and something just became available.We had previously reserved by email without any problems, but then we arrived a little early, no problem.Service was great, food was great, ambience was great too. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. We will be back.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
