We've been camping for a weekend with friends once a year for ages - it's always nice. PerhapsWe are also one of those who are a bit louder, sorry for that, but midnight is quiet. But the lake is worth coming here, even as a day guest. The offer in the kiosk has. also improved.

We didn't even get to camp. An online reservation was never answered and the telephone request was responded to rudely. Luckily there are enough places where you will be warmly welcomed. Goodbye forever!

No attention is paid to the noise level of the customers at night... much to the detriment of the campers who just want some peace and quiet.

Unfortunately we can only give 1 star.Positive: Sanitary facilities OK, water quality in the lake goodNegative: very unfriendly boss, no shopping opportunities for cyclists on site (supermarket only in the next town), snack bar not open every day and only until 6 p.m., no kitchen, no seating for cyclists on the tent meadow, electricity flat rate for cyclists too high , shower brands overpriced. The highlight of this overnight stay was construction noise (excavators on the site) from 7:00 a.m. onwards.Cyclists should definitely avoid this place!

We paid €56 for our car (Vito) + small 2-person tent for 4 people (two kids, two adults) for two nights, which I find quite expensive. Shower brands are still on top. But the sanitary facilities are super clean, there is a bistro with ice cream & chips - you need it with kids! and the lake is simply beautiful and perfect for children. There is also a cute playground + a beach volleyball court. A short hike around Lake Tonsee is a must. The Tonsee is also really great for day trips. Wasn't here for the first time and will come back often. Big recommendation 👍💛

The lake is beautiful, we were able to spontaneously get a remote, unpaved spot in the pine forest without supplies for a weekend with the mini camper.The sanitary facilities could use some renovation.The guests, whether permanent or day guests, were sometimes strange but ok for a short stay.I would like to take a break there again.

We come twice a year to relax with a large clique, many of us have been here for over 20 years and no one wants to miss it every year. The Düring family is always in a good mood and always finds a solution for everything.The kiosk is super cozy and Roman does his best to please everyone, we just feel comfortable there, keep it up Fam.DÜRING.

I was a long-term camper there for 5 years and can only say that I was very enthusiastic at the beginning. The unfriendliness of the campsite management is unsurpassed. But over time it got worse and worse, more and more weekend vacationers moved into the campsite, and so it became louder and dirtier. When my granddaughter (6) came to visit, swimming in the lake was impossible because the small beach (approx. 10-15 m wide) was completely overcrowded and older children/young people paid no attention to it. Nothing was done about complaints. The sanitary facilities are, well, getting old, out of 4 showers usually only 1 or 2 worked, far too few in my opinion anyway, given the crowd. Unfortunately, I can only agree with some of the reviews from long-term campers, the Irish guest workers, the snack bar is a disaster, waiting up to an hour for the fries because an 80-year-old man thinks he can run the place on his own. The highlight was that at the end of my time (4 years) homeless people settled in several awnings. The campsite management did nothing about this either. Two of my daughters were also long-term campers, one still is, one recently quit and the other is quitting in January. This campsite was also seen on television (rbb) about a month ago because the conditions among the residents have become unbearable, the entrance doors and driveways are/are parked shut. I could write a lot more about the 5 years of long-term camping.I cannot recommend this campsite, at least not for long-term campers. There are also 5 long-term campers at the campsite where I am now who have left. The lake is still very beautiful but you can forget everything else. Permanent camping space was simply rented out to weekend vacationers without the tenant knowing where he was on vacation, until the tenant came back unexpectedly and couldn't get to his place, etc. etc. etc.

see: fantastic. Water very clear, with lots of fishies. in the middle of the forest. Camping: uncomplicated, moderate prices, most sites with tree shade and many with lake views (at no extra charge!). everything clean and well maintained (except for the restrictions below). snack bar, playground, barbecue area etc. also available.Notes on matters beyond the control of the operators:1. Unfortunately, word has gotten around about the quality of the lake in B, far too many people come on hot weekends (garbage problem, sanitary facilities dirty, lake entrances blocked with giant plastic unicorn swimming islands and the like). A few more garbage cans could really be installed, especially since day guests have to pay for use of the lawn/beach and parking space on site. Some of the day guests also have no idea that the large garbage cans are almost 500m away from the campsite, almost on the road in front.2. Parking on the street in front of the site is actually not possible, especially not on both sides. Nobody sticks to it and the residents are understandably very annoyed because they often can't even get out of their driveways. But that would be the responsibility of the community...

We tried to reach reception by phone during the specified times, but it didn't work several times. As we walked by we were told this: "We don't answer the phone because we're fed up with people coming through here. Good luck with business then with a receptionist like that!

The owner of the campsite is a very friendly person, she gave us the feeling that we, as a group of seven boys, were really welcome here. The lake can be reached directly from the campsite and is very idyllic. Showers and snack bars are all at a good level and the toilets are clean :))

Just lovely! The lake is beautiful, the atmosphere is great.We're definitely not here for the last time. The sanitary facilities are simple and you have to have a toilet roll in your luggage, but that doesn't bother us at all.
