Rooms are ok, staff different, breakfast lady extremely unfriendly, it's a shame, room prices are too high

Simple, rural hotel on an old farm. The rooms spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds with very nice feather pillows. You often don't even find them in 4-star hotels.Very child friendly. My severely disabled grandson received very sensitive, individual support with the pony Pauline and was very happy. The dog Ronja and the cat Peter were very calm and sweet in view of our little one's need for cuddles.Breakfast lovingly prepared, fantastic surroundings.Resin-scented, mossy forests, the super-clear clay lake in picturesque surroundings. A real joy for lovers of the Schenkenländchen. We'd love to come back!

We booked this hotel as an overnight stay because it is not that far from Tropik Island. I can't say anything about the farm because we didn't have time to visit it. The double room was very clean and large. Breakfast is absolutely sufficient with several types of sausage and cheese, freshly baked rolls, of course coffee and, if desired, boiled or scrambled eggs. Service staff very nice, had a nice conversation. Own honey for sale, tasted today, absolutely recommended.

We were there with the family for a long weekend. A great family friendly farm. We recommend. Owners and employees are super welcoming. The rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast was good and there was something for everyone.

A very nice, small, family-run hotel with an adjoining farm/equestrian center where the children can get up close and personal with the horses and can care for and ride them under professional, patient guidance.

Absolutely not recommended!I can 100% understand all the negative reviews here....mold in the shower... I didn't book a musty, smelly hallway for 125 euros a night. Not to mention the bad breakfast.Problems are not taken seriously at all and are dismissed very unkindly if you can even find someone from the staff. The rooms have the absolute cheapest "hotel" standard.

As you can see in the photos, borderline. Damp walls, mold.We paid the full price of the season to hear at breakfast, we don't get the full deal because it would be low season. There was very little to choose from, the cornflakes were like cardboard. The scrambled eggs were warmed up in the microwave. However, the catastrophe happened when the cat came out of the kitchen, the hygiene area! The cat walked around where the food was being prepared and was still open on the work surface. We immediately ran out of food. For the hotel management this is self-evident, but the hygiene department obviously doesn't know that there are animals in the kitchen. Then you could close it straight away.In general, the treatment is not friendly. You can also hear stupid sayings about whether the animals on the farm are okay, since we complained about the kitchen conditions. However, there were no animals to be seen on the farm. The reception is supposedly always manned, but that's not true, as neither we nor Booking can be reached by phone to answer questions. That just rounds out the whole picture.
