For guesthouse: online reservations are ignored, noisy and inadequate rooms.The reservation I made online a year earlier (I received confirmation) was simply ignored. Luckily I had called a few days before about something else, otherwise we would have been without a room in Mönchberg on a wedding weekend. According to the lady on the phone, the owner changed last year, which is why all reservations were cancelled. But that can't be right. If you go back to 2015 with a time stamp, the imprint still says the same operator. Even if there was a change, the reservations would legally have had to be taken over. Basically, at least some information about the cancellation would have been nice. I found a review on TripAdvisor from 2015 where someone described the same experience.We had to pay 10 or 20 euros more per room per night for the new reservation made over the phone.The rooms are very loud, the TV on the lower floor was on at a loud volume almost all night long.Our toilet in the hallway couldn't be locked, the shower door, also in the hallway, couldn't even be closed, which ultimately prevented them from swinging with the toiletry bag (since the front door is always unlocked, you could get there unhindered from the street). can get in), soaps empty, towels (one large, one small for 2 people) with holes in them, room keys simple bar keys, rooms extremely outdated etc. etc..I stayed in better hostels for less money.Plus point: the running distance to the Alte Obstkeller (=wedding location) is incredibly short.
