We were there as part of a seminar. Unfortunately, our mobile home parking space, located elsewhere, was flooded. We were allowed to spend the night in the hotel parking lot without any problems and even registered for breakfast. Simply perfect hosts. Service and friendliness are still celebrated here. Many thanks from the mushroom friends Sven and Chantal.

We stopped here for an overnight stay on the way home from Sweden. The room, the cleanliness, the quiet location and the service, i.e. the extremely committed innkeepers, all deserve only one: 5 stars. The breakfast is still outstanding. Plentiful, great selection, some freshly prepared (egg dishes) and ALL sustainably produced food from the region, just great. Of course it's just our subjective opinion, but the complaints - albeit rare - are incomprehensible to us. We were completely satisfied, can give a clear recommendation and are considering coming back for a holiday with a bike.

It's like you imagine a country inn, not overcrowded, but very cozy, lots of wood and a very nice atmosphere, very good breakfast and coffee, eggs and orange juice fresh at the table round it off. .. since we'll be looking at Karl-May again next year, we'll probably come by again, great beds, big showers .. price performance is right.The two of them are doing everything right.

We stayed at Karl May's and only one night in this sweet hotel, which, as you can tell, is run with great attention to detail.Nothing is missing!The rooms are very clean, the beds are great, we slept well, enough towels and a nice big shower, as well as a TV in the right position and size!The breakfast is delicious and you can also taste the regional products. We didn't lack anything!So all in all great👌🏻

When you arrive at the hotel you have to dial a telephone number to be let in. But in front of the door you stand in a radio hole (which unfortunately it doesn't say) and you can't reach anyone at first. You always have to lock the entrance door behind you. The hotel has no ground floor rooms and no elevator.After initial disruptive factors, such as only slightly lukewarm water for showering and the radiator being turned off (particularly unpleasant in the bathroom) after a strenuous day at work, things were quiet in the Landhaus Schulze-Hamann. After a discussion with the landlord, the inadequacies were corrected. My request for an additional shower towel was fulfilled without any problem. My room was not cleaned in the 4 days of occupancy. The television is extremely small for the room and is placed directly behind the room door, so it always has to be closed. The buttons on the associated remote control only work to a limited extent and I had to get up and get out of bed to turn the device on and off. Unfortunately, the small and very clear breakfast buffet had neither scrambled eggs nor boiled eggs. On the last day, the coffee in the thermos flask was unfortunately only lukewarm and tasted like it had been warmed up. My request for whole grain bread was met with very high-quality baked goods. You have to like this country house style hotel. The double rooms with separate beds and the bathroom with a separate toilet are minimalistically furnished. There is a lot of space and very empty walls. I had the feeling that this hotel was extremely cheap and I didn't feel particularly comfortable. Only the very quiet and rural location far outside of Neumünster gave me a feeling of well-being.

Depends on what you're looking for. We were there to visit the trade fair. The buffet was very small, you could perhaps describe it as nice with clear (there was little choice, no eggs, no bacon, etc..., 1 glass of orange juice per person)The water in the showers in the rooms was cold, a pure dream after a long day at the trade fair. The rooms themselves were quite cool. The TVs were far too small for the distance.Next year we will take another hotel.

Very pretty little country house, rooms clean and attractively furnished. Service excellent, management very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately we were only there for two nights and were in transit. But it is highly recommended.

We cycled along the Mönchsweg and spent one night there. Rooms and furnishings are of very high quality. The hotel manager is extremely nice. You can see that he worked in the Atlantic in Hamburg for a long time. As a master craftsman, I have rarely seen such high-quality interior fittings in this price category. M. Wiese
