We stayed at the Bismarckhöhe guesthouse with the Tribull family for the second time and were again very satisfied. We were able to relax wonderfully and recover well in the quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Large, clean rooms, attentive and extremely nice hosts. We'll be back in the fall and are already looking forward to it!

Great located, family-run guesthouse. Very nice, dogs allowed. Very tasty breakfast, great coffee 🤩. Nice room, great view. Super close to the surrounding health clinics. Super nice, funny and friendly host.Rooms a bit dated, but everything was very clean. Quiet and cozy.Small but sufficient breakfast buffet.Small drawback: creaking and squeaky beds.But otherwise everything was great, highly recommended and would happily come back!Thank you for the great stay and your friendliness.Thanks also for the delicious sample - honey and schnapps were super delicious!!!

Great and accommodating hosts. The owner is also a beekeeper and so there was honey from the region for breakfast. The rooms are normally furnished, some with a garden terrace or balcony. 5 minutes walk to the small cable car, so you can be in Bad Ems within 2 minutes, a short walk to the thermal baths.The starting point is also great, 20 minutes by car to all the surrounding castles and monuments.We will definitely come back with our daughter.THANK YOU FOR THE BEAUTIFUL DAYS

The cell phone sent me through the forest (it was tiring, it was very hot, with a dog and a backpack for 3 days! The owner was very nice and picked me up from the parking lot because I couldn't find the guesthouse. The SINGLE ROOM is huge with lots of sockets and good Everything was well thought out for putting in and arranging, great bathroom, large, great shower, I think the terrace is nice, the dog is allowed to go with me, even in the garden. A small complaint is that there is no partition wall to the side terrace. Breakfast was asked which rolls, I said grain bread. It was ok. There was only sausage, cheese, honey, jam, 4 types each. Overall, a place to feel good.

We were there for the second time. The location is very nice and quiet. The disadvantage here is that there is no way to eat without a car, except in the mountain railway restaurant. The surroundings of the house are very special and not understandable for all guests. There are old tires and rims lying in the meadow, the used barbecue fork and an empty bag of charcoal rest on the table in front of the house, lonely, sad planters greet the guests and a lot of rubbish that could be disposed of directly in the garbage cans next to it, detracts from the experience Overall impression of the beauty of this place.The breakfast was, in my opinion, better. There was no muesli or cornflakes, no still water, no yoghurt, no fruit or anything like that. It was quite spartan. A little more could be done.The rooms are clean and well furnished and the owners are very nice.

After reading some reviews here, my expectations were very high. I was even more disappointed with what I found. On the homepage you could read "We value a visually appealing overall impression with a homely flair - for your feel-good stay."My overall impression upon arrival was that it looked like a bit of bulky waste had been put out in front of the front door. The dirt trap mat in the hallway had probably put the bad times behind it. The rooms were large, but seemed cold as there were no pictures, hangings on the windows or other decorations. This image was also reflected in the breakfast room. The bathroom was clean and was cleaned every other day. There was only some mold on the joints in the shower. The bedroom wasn't vacuumed once in 8 days. The breakfast buffet, praised by some reviewers, was well below the standards I'm used to in youth hostels, where I pay significantly less despite the excellent offerings. My conclusion... not a second time.
