This year we (12 people) were guests of the Schöning family in Augustendorf for the Bonn Culture Days. With the great accommodation, the excellent food, the family hospitality and the excellent service, the Schöning family contributed significantly to the success of the Bonn Culture Days. The hotel is highly recommended, we would like to thank you most politely and from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful time at the Tühlsfeld dam.We'll definitely see each other again, married couple Voßmann, the Bonner

Family run hotel, great service and very friendly. Simply to feel good. Price/performance definitely fits. We were there for a family celebration and we spent 2 great days. We started in Mr. Schöning's wooden hut on Friday evening with a spit roast from the open fireplace - brilliant and very, very tasty. The Saturday menu was also very good. If you are in the area, visit the Waldgasthof Schöning. Thanks to the entire team.

We were able to experience a wonderful weekend with the family at the Waldgasthof Schöning for our diamond wedding! Things got off to a hearty start in the log cabin on Friday and Mr. Schöning personally served his delicious spit roast, an excellent menu was served on Saturday and the breakfast left nothing to be desired! We were able to enjoy perfect service not only from the employees, but from the boss and his wife personally! The rooms were beautifully furnished and nothing was missing! We can absolutely recommend this hotel! We say a big thank you to the Schöning family!

Took a week off. Due to the friendly and very pleasant nature of the Schöning family, there are 5 stars for the relaxation factor. Nice hotel, very attentive staff, great service at breakfast and dinner. Great area. Well suited for cycling and hiking. Very well-developed cycling and hiking trails. We will come back there again. Nice little hotel in the middle of nature. Super friendly staff with a family atmosphere. You can tell that the Schöning family has put a lot of heart and soul into their hotel.The forest in front of the door and the nature around the dam invite you to go hiking. You can then end the evening with delicious food and a sauna session.Highly recommended and I would like to come back.
