a great hotel in a central yet very quiet location. Breakfast and the half board menu were great. Unfortunately, one evening none of the main courses on offer were to our liking, but we were immediately offered a great alternative. We hadn't expected that and certainly didn't expect it, but the joy was all the greater. The staff is very friendly and helpful in all positions. The wellness area is great and versatile, we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend. We understand something different by a vital resort. There are three saunas and a steam bath… Loungers were reserved and after commenting to the staff we were told that the loungers could not be cleared away. It got to the point where you didn't have a lounger or a chair after a sauna session. It was also very loud in the spa area and some visitors were lying around with cell phones in the wellness and relaxation room. We wanted to book a massage for the weekend on Friday, but we were told in a relatively unfriendly manner that there were no more massages for the weekend. Our room was super noisy. We were on the bar floor, you could hear the doors slamming and people running in the hallway.Unfortunately we didn't feel relaxed, which is a shame for the price you pay.

We had three wonderful days in Oversum.Above all, the staff were without exception courteous and nice. We came with a dog and we and the dog were always greeted warmly and the other guests also thought he was great, something like that is something you like to see as an owner. The room was big enough, smelled good, was clean and the bed was quite hard, as we like it. The pillows alone were a bit too high, but that's a matter of taste. The wellness area was very nice, the sauna infusions were highly praised by my partner and I was also able to relax on the loungers. Only the pool filter system is a bit loud. But you get used to it.The dinner and breakfast were extremely good. The staff even responded to my request to take the starter and dessert back to my room, so as someone who had undergone stomach surgery, it wasn't unpleasant for me to eat there. A special highlight for us were the ox cheeks and the sparkling wine for breakfast. We were also impressed by the huge selection at breakfast. The hotel itself is very tastefully decorated and I didn't see any corners that looked a little neglected, as can sometimes happen with large hotels.

Too bad for a 4-star hotel, the service still has room for improvement. At the buffet the food was more than poorly presented, the spoons weren't clean, which was the fault of the guests, but then they need to be replaced. Table reservations were not honored, complaints were noted but did not change anything. Very noisy. However, the location is great.

We are currently here with friends. The hotel promises more than it delivers. Starting with the service staff. Inattentive, snippy and a lot of room for improvement. The rooms are ok, but far from the 4 star standard. The corridors to the rooms resemble those of a clinic. Sterile, heartless, bare and simply not beautiful. On Friday the dinner was buffet style. I have never seen such a bad and unloving buffet. Best example: a spoon for sauerkraut and mashed potatoes (I don't think I need to mention what that looked like). And you pay 49 euros for it. On Saturday the food was suddenly brought to the table. The portions were soooo small (there was pork fillet with bacon beans) and there was a mini roll of bacon beans on the plate. And noted again.....49 euros. The price is not appropriate. Werder for the room prices nor for the food.A slightly cheaper room with breakfast would be a tip.And train service staff...Please and thank you and more attention would be great. And you shouldn't complain in front of the guest....!Absolutely worth mentioning is the gentleman who was at the reception on Friday evening (we talked about the buffet situation). He was nice and polite and it was a pleasant conversation. And the gentleman who made the infusions.

The hotel is remarkably different in terms of its external appearance (egg-shaped), as well as the rooms with large windows overlooking nature. The staff is very friendly. The wellness area is attractive. It's a shame that the adjacent swimming pool can only be used to a limited extent in the morning.
