Very good breakfast buffet - friendly and helpful innkeeper. Very quiet location. Very nice modern rooms - absolutely clean. Very good accommodation for a medium-sized dog - including frozen storage of the fresh meat. Good dog walking options. Parking in front of the door.Overall, highly recommended.

The breakfast was exceptional: a lot of choice, even though there were only up to 5 guests there these days. During each of the 3 days there was a warm, freshly prepared dessert from the pan (pancakes with pieces of apple, pancakes with plum jam filling and on Sunday Kaiserschmarrn) and egg dishes as desired. In addition to various types of rolls, bread, muesli and yogurt, we found nicely prepared crepe rolls, salads, wonderfully tender pieces of roast beef, etc. Vegetarians and vegans are also catered for there. The hostel father is an experienced cook and knows his craft! The dinner was also very tasty and filling. Seasonally there were also dishes with chanterelles. One evening we cooked for just us (3 people).The rooms all have their own special charm, all with new bathrooms and beautifully renovated. You won't find accommodation like this twice. Many thanks to the lovely hosts!

The breakfast is fantastic. Very much homemade and very well cared for. The host and hostess are very friendly. The room we had was very spacious and even had its own balcony. You can also eat there in the evening. Highly recommended. Very good and very affordable.

I've wanted to visit Haus am Kipp for a long time and it's always been on my agenda. Now there were two of us there and the visit exceeded our expectations. Although the weather wasn't the best, we had a wonderful stay. Starting with the view from our beautifully furnished, clean room. It was phenomenal for us city dwellers. Wilfried and Marianne were great hosts and nothing was left to be desired. There was a welcome glass of champagne. Coffee and tea were available free of charge around the clock. We had the two of them cook for us in the evening and the food was sensational on both days. The breakfast was very varied and always with fresh things that varied. Egg dishes were also freshly prepared for you. We have already reserved again for August :-)

Were there with 3 families. I was there myself for the fourth time. You feel like you're at home. Great rooms and, if you wish, the innkeeper can conjure up a delicious meal. Breakfast buffet simply mega. 😊 Always happy. Nice for hiking

Is a bit hidden, was surprised by the modern room, a very nice view from my room; Breakfast was small enough but very tasty, scrambled eggs were made and everything was very tasty, I can only recommend it personally

cozy, clean, tastefully and beautifully furnished rooms. Sensational, delicious, fresh breakfast buffet with a wonderful selection (even when I was the only guest in the house). We were offered dinner, we were glad we didn't have to leave home anymore - and found ourselves in a beautiful little restaurant with the most delicious dinner and friendliest service! This small, fine house is run with a lot of skill, love and passion - and that's exactly how the cooking is done.I'd love to come back!

We were visitors to the family-run house at KIPP for one evening.While traveling through with our dog, we were able to move into a beautiful little two-story apartment.We were very pleased by the friendly and warm welcome from the owner. After a short introduction to the accommodation, we met the owner's wife over a glass of wine. Such a warm and open soul with a relaxed, long conversation.Since the village's Christmas party was taking place in the restaurant that evening, it was explained how it would work: The last person turns off the lights.The bed was extremely comfortable and the accommodation was very lovingly furnished.Don't promise too much about breakfast. There was plenty of choice and regional delicacies and again a warm welcome with scrambled or fried eggs. We were allowed to bring our dog to the place for breakfast.Conclusion: Highly recommended, 5*

One of the best hotels we have visited in the past year. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, amazing restaurant and Superb breakfast. They only have 4 rooms so it is advisable to book in advance if you want to make sure that you are able to stay here. Dogs are allowed (upon availability and with an extra fee). The walks in the morning are amazing. Definitely visiting again in the near future.

A climb from the Lahn that is very, very worth it and you should definitely do it!!Everything was just right here!! Dinner and breakfast, value for money and courteous hosts cannot be beaten. Beautiful large and comfortable room with panoramic views, well-kept ambience with great attention to detail throughout the accommodation. The terrace is the ideal place to relax and enjoy.You just have to come back here!!
