We went to IlGusto di Bella for the first time yesterday, on the recommendation of a friend.It was on a small scale, a birthday dinner with the family.The combination of Bavarian rural inn style and southern influence fits perfectly into the small town.The service, thank you Heidi👍🏻, and the food were great. Giuseppe, the boss, was very concerned about ensuring that his guests were satisfied, which was not difficult for Duhaus.After the meal and a few limoncelli, it was clear that we would go here again and I can only recommend this restaurant.

We had catering. The boss and the service staff were extremely helpful. The food was freshly prepared on site, such as bruschetta or the Saltimbocca alla Romana. It was super tasty - all guests were more than satisfied. It was perfectly organized. The plates, cutlery and glasses were provided to us. The panacotta for dessert was to die for. Highly recommended for parties - it's great. Grazie Il Gusto.

With a warm hug and his words "We're almost like a family" we said goodbye to Giuseppe Di Bella, the owner and operator of this special inn. We were there for the second time, first last year and we have already arranged to meet again next year.Last year the inn was a kind of "emergency accommodation" for us when a medical emergency forced us to stay a few days longer in the region around Dachau, but there didn't seem to be any accommodation there anymore because there was a trade fair in Munich .We were very happy that we got accommodation there. Otherwise we would never have gotten to know Giuseppe, we would never have enjoyed his incredibly delicious Oberbachern pizza and we would never have been allowed to come into contact with his down-to-earth attitude.It is a simple house whose history as a classic inn can still be seen today. Not kitsch, but what you would expect from such a location in the region. Not sophisticated, a bit picturesque and not far from Dachau and Munich... and with an Italian soul.Here you can experience real hospitality and delicious food. Some things seem improvised from time to time and I even believe that they actually are. Nothing is perfect but everything is authentic. If you like it and can get involved in it, you will find many great moments here. Far away from all the perfectionism and high-style places, you can experience deceleration, which is good for you.You have to experience it. Giuseppe is always very concerned about the well-being of his guests. He is a restaurateur who lets his guests share in everything that defines him and his mission. And so it sometimes happens that you find out why some things don't always go smoothly. You feel why and it makes you seem secondary when it's not perfect. Because it's always good somehow.Folks, let in the spirit of Di Bella...in the beer garden, in the parlor or in one of the rooms.I would like to recommend it to you.

This was our first time ordering something to pick up and it's just perfect. The gentleman is very friendly and accommodating. Despite the current floods and the fact that his own cellar was full, he is in a great mood with guests and doesn't let anything get them down. We will eat locally next time.

The inn in Oberbachern was a disappointment for us. The food was below average, which was due to the freshness of the salad and the taste of the schnitzel. The pizzas are probably good, many customers chose these.For me there was another annoyance that almost made me leave immediately. For me, the landlord proves that he has no political insight. For me, justifying a price increase of 12% by saying that the government is giving the money abroad is almost political incitement. The increase in VAT back to 19% was foreseeable after the corona pandemic was over. This is the only reason why the VAT was reduced. The fact that at the same time the inflation rate rose due to various external influences and that the landlord has to pay higher prices for the goods plus higher wages when purchasing is probably the real reason for price increases. Acceptable for me. But the landlord should either not make a political statement or stick to the truth.

Rarely have I found it so difficult to make a review. The restaurant definitely has potential. The inn is traditionally furnished, but pleasantly kitsch-free. It's very beautiful outside in the garden, almost enchanted. There is a playground for children. The staff and the boss are very friendly and noticeably concerned about the well-being of the guests. Unfortunately, the dishes weren't all that convincing. The gravy for the children's spaetzle had so much garlic in it that you could hardly eat it. The asparagus was poorly peeled and woody, the dried herbs on top were terrible and the potatoes weren't cooked well. The menu is huge and includes Bavarian and Italian dishes. Significantly less would probably be more. And maybe you could mix the cuisines intelligently. How about a Mediterranean roast pork.

The playground for children is nice. Unfortunately there is no food for children. The fish fingers were way too done and the fries were over salted. Our food was ok, but nothing special. The gentleman from the service could have looked a little friendlier and seemed like you were a burden to him...
