Unfortunately, the taste of the food was frozen food.Pumpkin cream soup had a sour taste, as if it was having an affair with sour lentils.However, it would be a great candidate for Rosin's restaurantsThe toilet deserves 5 stars. They are really nicely renovated.

Very old-fashioned decor. The rooms have new bathrooms, but they are completely flooded with water when you shower. The beer is delicious, but unfortunately the food is not. The breakfast was the worst I've had in the hotel in recent times. Small and poor selection.

Unfortunately I read the reviews too late and so we went to eat as a group. A far too large selection of dishes always puts me off personally. And an older woman in the kitchen! Another older woman at the counter helped out from time to time. She turned out to be the boss. Of course, how else could it be, almost only finished products and that's how it tasted. As already described here, small portions for too much money. One of us completely forgot about the food. Well, it can happen sometimes, that's the impression.At the end we also told the boss that her food was the worst we had had in a long time. Well, you like it.Definitely a unique experience for us.I wish the two ladies that they should rather enjoy their pension. Maybe an experienced cook plus helpers would make more difference.

Were eating in the restaurant. Bad value for money. Very expensive and tiny portions. Tastes more like frozen food. The waitresses weren't super friendly either. It's a shame, the Häffner beer is very good, a great brewery inn would be ideal. Not recommended!

Inn/hotel are very centrally located. 5-10 minutes walk to the town center. Hotel would have to be woken up from its slumber. As of the 80s/90s. The food, a schnitzel for €18, was good, but the portion size was like a child's portion. For €75 you get a single room where the air in the room smelled very musty, the mattresses had seen better days and the cover was very full of holes. When we left/paid, the older lady, presumably the owner, didn't say thank you or have a good trip or anything like that. Thank you!!!

I'm near rehab and wanted to go out to dinner with my husband. The waitress is a really lovely woman (I say inclusive). The salad tasted like my grandma's. The starter soup is included with all dishes and the spaetzle is homemade (I think)The portions, thank God, are “normal size”. My husband was full and I couldn't make it. We also sat nicely on the terrace.The toilets are tip top and new, everything else is nice and old and well maintained.I can only recommend the brewery. Unfortunately I drank water...rehab! There will be 3 weeks of ditoxing💪

We had lunch at this restaurant until half an hour ago.Those who write here say they don't understand why the rating of the food is so bad.We ate here with family, ordered and were served 3x inedible meat, i.e. broken meat. Except for the 3 plates, we were charged for the side dishes that came with the menu. Drinks that were not mentioned were brought to our table. Very dissatisfied price performance very expensive for what is offered. Unfortunately, one point is too many

As holidaymakers we wanted to enjoy a good meal. The beer was impeccable. But the food is not value for money... veal liver, 2 small pieces, 1 potato rosti, a bit of leaf salad for just under 25 euros... is not acceptable!

A very nice service. Good beers, and decent taps too.Unfortunately, the kitchen is not recommended.It's a shame actually. I often go to Bad Rappenau for work and the brewery is right next to the hotel.But if you know that the food leaves something to be desired, you look for another location.

Went there for lunch on Saturday. Just a small menu with boring dishes, nothing vegetarian and substandard, unreasonable prices. In terms of taste, the game broth was only bitter from burnt soup vegetables, which also made the color unappetizingly dark, with hardly any game taste. Steak for 30€ at most 130g, fries ok, beans just soaked in salt water. The waiter clears the plates even though people are still eating. Ambience clean but no longer up to date. A restaurant in the middle of the spa area could be a gold mine if the quality and price were right, what a shame!

It's really difficult for me to give a rating here. In general, the restaurant must be separated from the hotel.About the restaurant: The dishes were all freshly prepared, did not contain any chemical additives that I am allergic to and were very good. The beer selection and quality is excellent. The service is a bit slow, but the restaurant still deserves 4 stars, tending towards 5. You should simply order your next drink 10-15 minutes in advance.About the hotel: the rooms are quite recently renovated and very quiet. But when it comes to cleanliness, my room was unacceptable. If I hadn't arrived so late in the evening, I would have left straight away. Toilet including glasses splattered, shower stained, sink stained, toothbrush glass with white coating on the floor, drinking glass as well. It all looked like it had been used by a family of four for a week without cleaning. At best it was just wiped dry. It may be that the cleaner had a bad day, but I can only judge what I saw. Somewhere the price doesn't match the performance. I would put the room in the 50-60€ category rather than just under 90€. But even then I would expect a clean bathroom.Conclusion: Very happy to eat and drink again, not recommended to stay overnight.

This was our second time there, once for dinner and the next day for lunch. The numerous negative reviews are incomprehensible and unhelpful because they are mostly very general. We tried 4 different dishes:1. Liver slices2. Pork medallions3. Sauerbraten4. Venison filletAll dishes were served hot and after a reasonable time between ordering and delivery.The cooking is traditional, without finished products.A vegetable cream soup that deserved the name, namely without any solid pieces of vegetables.The main courses are served in normal, sufficient portion sizes.The beers from our own production are very different in taste, but worth a try. In terms of price, the Häffner's Gasthof is in the middle range, which is justified given the location and, above all, the quality.Anyone who complains about possible waiting times should know that the kitchen in particular has been in the family's hands since 50!!! years. Reservation is recommended.A traditionally run family business with grandma's kitchen and its own beer.Clear recommendation!
