- Ideal for families with children- Horses, rabbits, fallow deer, chickens, goats, cows up close- very nice landlord family who leave no questions or wishes unanswered- very good starting point for activities- huge selection of outdoor toys- Playground, fire pit, heated pool, billiards, table football, boating on the small trout pond and much more.- extra playroom for younger children for the best entertainment in bad weatherWe'd love to come back, thank you for your hospitality! 👋🏾😊

A few days ago we were there with a group of 5 children aged 4 to 9 for a week as part of a children's camp. We stayed in the Köhlerstube, which is a bit away from the farm.It was the perfect place for us and our kids. Everything is very, very child-friendly and there is so much variety for the kids with playgrounds, sandpits, trampolines and of course the opportunity to get so close to the animals. Highlights were the possibility of riding lessons and, above all, the small in-house swimming pool, which was simply perfect for us.The holiday apartment was really well equipped, absolutely nothing was missing.Another highlight was baking bread on sticks around the campfire with all the house guests and especially the farming family. It was a really nice experience where you were able to experience a lot of hospitality.Thank you for the lovely stay!

We had the “farmhouse room”.An extremely rustic domicile.Fully equipped including a Miele dishwasher and a bathtub.A swivel grill and two stainless steel charcoal grills were available at the house.There was a decent pool, the boys (5/8) were extremely pleased.An arcade with table football and billiards, as well as a projector, ensured entertainment.Jens and Stephanie took great care of our needs.Thanks again for the glass of freshly tapped wine 😁.There was the farm's own jam, honey and eggs, at fair prices and very tasty.The bread roll service brought super good things.The peace and darkness at night were very relaxing.Back home, my wife couldn't sleep with the windows open the first night.We hiked a bit, visited a silver mine and a summer toboggan run, the kids rode ponies and dealt with the farm animals (fallow deer, goats, chickens and cute bunnies), played football or table tennis and paddled on the small lake 🤣All guests were able to get to know each other at a shared barbecue evening with stick bread (thanks Stephanie for the dough and the homemade herb butter).One more thing: there was WiFi everywhere 👍We'll be back, no question! 😁

We had a wonderful 10-day vacation at the Schmidbauernhof during the summer holidays!Our hosts Jens and Stephanie gave us a very warm welcome and gave us great tips. An absolute highlight was of course the ride on the tractor followed by a barbeque grill, but also the pony ride through the beautiful forest!There is an incredible amount to see and experience on the farm: petting cats, feeding and watching fallow deer, splashing around in the pool, boating on the pond, feeding the cats and then petting them every day, swinging, climbing, playing in the sand, table football or billiards play...The apartment was super comfortable and had EVERYTHING you could want!The bakery service was super practical, we were able to get super fresh eggs and our own fallow venison sausages on site and so we only had to go to the supermarket twice.THANK YOU for an unforgettable time and see you next time!

We had wonderful days on the Schmid farm with our three children and the dog. The farm is very beautiful, cozy and offers everything you could want for a family vacation. The animals are incredibly trusting and are lovingly cared for. The pool is a big highlight in hot temperatures and we really enjoyed the barbecue evenings together. The whole Schmid family is so friendly, authentic and always there for the guests...we will definitely come back.

We immediately felt very comfortable with the Schmid family. Jasmin and Ralf are open and friendly and things are simply uncomplicated here. For example, you can take drinks from the fridge, eggs, jam, etc. and simply say how much it was when you leave. When we asked for additional fall protection for the cot, they immediately pulled out all the stops; they were even able to find and dig out a buggy when our son wasn't walking very well. Eating bread on sticks together was sociable and exactly how you want it for the children and yourself. Pony riding is offered with a lot of fun and you run a long, great lap through the forest. We just thought it was beautiful there.

We had a wonderful few days here. The “Bauernstube” apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped. The children can play and feed/pet the animals. Our dog was received excellently by the host dogs.The Schmid family has created a fantastic holiday home here.

We were on this beautifully situated farm with 3 families (grandparents with children and partner and grandchildren) and had the Black Forest house, located in the middle of the forest, all to ourselves. Everything very clean and comfortable. Very nice and caring hosts. Lots of well-kept animals on the farm. Lots of activities for the children.

Beautifully located holiday farm in a very quiet Black Forest valley. Absolutely nice hosts who care about the well-being of their guests. Pony rides, grilling stick bread together, tractor rides with a trailer into the forest, feeding the fallow deer or helping with the daily work are activities on the farm. Many animals delight young and old alike: goats, rabbits, chickens, farm dogs, cats, horses, ponies, deer and a deer are right on the farm. The rooms are beautifully furnished - bread service included! With games barn (table football & billiards) and games room. We'd love to come back!

The farm is very beautiful and has lots of great animals and funny dogs! The stick bread in the evening with the owners is very nice. I can only recommend the farm!!!🤩🤩

We were able to spend 5 days on the farm with the lovely Schmid family. An absolute dream for children as well as adults. There was so much to experience and discover. The children were able to keep themselves busy and the parents were also able to relax a bit. Feeding the animals, the playground, the playroom, the pool and the pony rides and the tractor tour into the forest followed by a campfire and grilling stick bread were simply great. The Schmid family and the children are so nice and helpful. We can only recommend the farm and will definitely come back.

We stayed at the Schmid farm for a week with three families (including 3 small children). We had such a great time! Absolutely recommended for families with children. In addition to the offers with the animals, there are several playgrounds and alternative options even in bad weather. The animals are all child-friendly and cuddly. The tractor tour and the subsequent barbecue with stick bread was the highlight of the week. We will definitely come again and heartily recommend it to friends. Really great family ❤️
