Very friendly, attentive staff. Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Room in the house Germania Oak P43, bathroom but very modern. Completely sufficient. Villa Germania is approx. 50 mtr. from the main house. The location is very central and you can always find your own parking space.

I use a walker and therefore booked with an elevator. When we arrived the elevator was out of service. At the reception it was not possible to get me a room on the lower floor, but we were asked to immediately pay for the 3 nights in advance. I had to climb a narrow carpeted staircase to the first floor. Not easy with a nailed fracture of the femoral neck. I am 91 years old. It was cold in the room so I turned on the heater, it only got lukewarm. There was no possibility to make tea there in the house (e.g. in the lounge). I like to travel, but I didn't like it, the hotel has 3 houses, so the young woman would certainly have found a better option for me . Maybe they could have offered us a small compensation, I found it very impersonal. If the elevator fails, 10 percent of the travel price has to be refunded.I thought the breakfast times were good, especially in the cold season you can sit there comfortably and have a good meal. The location to the saltworks and the spa park is ideal. The parking spaces were sufficient and directly at the house.

We planned to stay in Bad Salzuflen for 3 days on the way home from the North Sea to Bavaria.We stayed in room 10 of the Villa Germania of the Hotel Risengarten for the first night. The room was an imposition: felt like it was 35 degrees, the window faced a very busy street, the carpet was falling apart, hair was spread all over the bed, the shelf in the shower was hanging loose, etc.).After an almost sleepless night, we asked to cancel the second night the next morning. It was countered that this was not possible because there was a contract. However, we were offered another room, which was in better condition and away from the street.Overall, my impression is that the property is past its best and could use a lot of renovations.The location to the center and the breakfast buffet were positive.

I have to say the hallway in Villa Germania is embarrassing. With so many people coming and going, how can you have such a dirty carpet on the floor and stairs. With a laminate floor and painting the railings everything would look more inviting. I have a small guesthouse but I can be proud because everything is top notch and I wouldn't receive guests in such a condition.

The Hotel Germania belongs to the Hartmann hotel group. The booking hotel is the Rosengarten. From here the 3 others are occupied. So always check what you book via a portal. We had a room in the Germania that could only be reached via stairs. The room was bright and spaciousAnd clean. The bathroom was normal except for the toilet, which was a bit tight. It could get very loud with the window open. The house had a beautiful garden which you could use for sunbathing.The breakfast was a buffet that left nothing to be desired, but you had to walk over from Germania to get it. The Hoten is close to the pedestrian zone and close to the spa park.We felt comfortable.

Villa Germania is not a single marketed propertyHotel but a subsidiary hotel of the Rosengarten. Breakfast is offered in the Hotel Rosengarten, about 75m away. Unfortunately, the bathroom is quite small and the ventilation is too loud

Everything is available in the room. (WLAN, safe, television, seating, luggage rack and a hairdryer) It's enough to sleep. You have to go to the main building for breakfast.

Very nice hotel.. location great. lots of opportunities to go for a walk...Sights directly behind the hotel. Breakfast 5 🌟 upon request, fried eggs or scrambled eggs (without bacon) can even be prepared. Large selection of muesli... freshly squeezed orange juice...Overall 5 🌟 from me.Until the next stay ;-)

We are not that demanding and wanted to go to the custom bike fair and only stay there for 1 night... unfortunately the TV was not working, no WiFi was available (which is advertised for free) and the toilet was broken in the shower with someone else's hair, so we left it aside to use. In the evening we were only able to find a parking space 3-4 streets away with a 10 minute walk. The next morning for the breakfast we had booked and paid for, we were bundled up to a large table with others as if in a makeshift manner, with the message that the place should be free again in 30 minutes because it was reserved! We were actually just fobbed off at the reception... we then left disappointed... well, we had that experience and it was certainly only a one-off.Too bad
