We were there over the weekend. We were warmly welcomed. We liked the atmosphere. The room and bathroom exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was sensationally fresh and lovingly arranged. If desired, fresh eggs can be prepared in all variations. The coffee was very good. Great importance is placed on regional products. We felt very comfortable and have already booked again. The location was incredibly beautiful. The outdoor area and parking lot were also very well maintained and tidy. The boss was very friendly and competent.

Unfortunately the prices for the food are not justified and totally overpriced. With a meal between €20 and €30 (there is nothing cheaper on the lunch menu) you expect more quality.We ate a pork schnitzel and a Jägerschnitzel. Neither convinced us.

We chose the hotel as the location for our motorcycle tours. We booked 4 double rooms and 3 single rooms with half board. The price-performance ratio was absolutely good.The rooms are not very large, but sufficient, with a balcony. The equipment is not up to date, but everything is clean and tidy. It's a bit tight in the bathroom.The breakfast buffet was very good, and special requests (gluten-free, only spelled flour) were catered for without any problems.We weren't disappointed with dinner either, it was very tasty. The portions were a little too small for the men, but they were still full.The entire staff including the owners are very friendly and attentive.The hotel/restaurant is located in a remote location, making it very quiet and also suitable for hikes.Our conclusion: We can recommend it and would come again.

First impression was very good. beautifully located and friendly.For dinner we had wild goulash. Unfortunately it's tough as leather. I swallowed my portion, but my aunt couldn't eat it, it went back.The kitchen's reaction made me very sad."The goulash is just right. But if we have to, we get a portion for free"Thanks but a schnapps would have been better. I'm definitely not going there anymore.

Stopover during a motorcycle tour. We received a very friendly and nice welcome, the single room was clean and quiet. Food was good, although small portions for adult bikers. Schnitzel cut quite small from pork, children's portion. Breakfast ok.

We were guests at the turn of the year and can only recommend the house. Very quietly located on three easy-to-manage hiking trails, you can explore Amorbach, Michelstadt, Erbach and Miltenberg in less than 20 minutes. The chef impresses with excellent dishes and the very courteous staff keep an overview and are in a good mood even in the heaviest of hustle and bustle. A top address to relax for a few days.

We were on a family holiday with 5 adults at the Gasthof Ohrnbachtal.The inn is beautifully situated in a practically secluded location in a valley. Remote, you have to go there specifically. This is a great shame for the operators; we would like Mrs. and Mr. Schäfer to have more guests. You can feel very comfortable here and nothing is missing.The rooms are neatly furnished, quite small, everything is very clean. We had a balcony at the back with a view of nature, very nice!There is a wide range of breakfast options, lots of home-made cereals, juices, etc.The wine list and spirits are well selected, organic or regionally focused. Several beers on tap!The highlight is the kitchen, Mr. Schäfer really cooks. No convenience, everything is genuine, that is very, very rare to find!The restaurant is not furnished in a modern style, but is still paneled with wood, the tables have white fabric tablecloths and fabric napkins. The service was quick and friendly. Where else is there something like that?And that at the prices.You can only consider yourself lucky as a guest. For us, the house was a coincidence and we really enjoyed the 5 days, which were far too short. We can only recommend this house, the Schäfers are such good hosts and we wish them many guests.
