STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! they shared the wrong PIN with me, and I could not enter the facilities. I had to book another hotel and pay 400 euros.

The breakfast is okThe reception was only one-sidedly nice, the landlord is arrogant and condescending!The room was a storage room from which all the cleaning supplies had to be removed! The bathroom is so small that you have to sit on the side of the toilet or put your feet in the showerWe won't be coming back. Children pay the full price after their second birthday!!!!!!!

Rooms were very clean and tidy. Bathroom was large and clean.The only thing that bothered him was the street noise, but the guesthouse can't do anything about that.

The apartment was clean and tidy. There was only a small kitchenette. The apartment was too expensive. The landlords weren't there.

Right on the main streets but not too loud. Price 70 €/night was pretty decent, but it was almost a complete apartment (just no stove).Nice and uncomplicated landlady

My husband had booked here without my knowledge and I was shocked at what awaited us here because of the recessions. But we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were modern and friendly furnished. The breakfast was rich and it was always refilled. Contact with the landlord was only by phone but was nice. His wife was always there and was very friendly. I don't know what people expect. It's just a guesthouse. We had nothing to complain about.

We stayed here over the weekend and really enjoyed it...I don't understand some of the recessions here!!! It is a pension and not a 5 star hotel!!! The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated... We also really liked the breakfast and there was something of everything... The location is pretty central so you can easily reach everything on foot...An absolute recommendation from us!!!!And please don't let the negative reviews influence you, it's really nice here

A really nice little hotel. If you arrive later and there is no one on site, the owners can be reached via cell phone and you will be given the PIN for the key safe and thus have access to the room. The breakfast is absolutely sufficient and there is something for everyone 😍 The times are given as 8 to 10, unfortunately my working hours were earlier, so I asked if it would be possible to get it earlier. I would like to give more points than is possible. Because it's absolutely not a given that this is made possible, but I was even given bread rolls for the day and there was something sweet in them too. 🥰 I stayed in a single room and I was very satisfied there too, everything is very clean, modernly furnished and absolutely sufficient. It's less than a 5-minute walk to Lake Steinhuder. I would also come back here in a heartbeat. A big thank you to the owners for their friendly manner and understanding ♥️ Unfortunately there are not many parking spaces on site, but this is due to the central location, but there is the possibility of parking in all nearby side streets, so that would not be a reason here either to attract a star!

Ambivalent: Mr. Brandes was nice on the phone, the employee in the morning was inflexible and unfriendly.The furnishings are jumbled together, old but clean.Price too high for the low standard.

Good location, 5 minutes walk to the sea and ideal as a starting point for cyclists. My room on the upper floor was clean and completely adequately equipped. There are also guest refrigerators in the hallway and in the breakfast room. The breakfast itself is small, but varied and loving, requests are accepted. The friendly staff is only there for breakfast in the morning and for cleaning at lunchtime, but someone is always available by phone if you have any questions.Card payment is not possible on site if you book at short notice, but there is a bank nearby.I really liked it, small but nice, definitely recommended and I would like to come back!Greetings to the lady of the house, who puts a lot of effort into breakfast and doesn't shy away from contact with the guests and also takes time to chat,Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Super nice room, great bed, handicapped accessible bathroom in room 2.. Breakfast was super sufficient. Wishes are taken into account.. very friendly hosts. Location totally central to the sea...Nature park really great for taking a walk. At the sea you have the option of taking a boat trip or going to the island...at the sea there are also various cafes and restaurants such as the Little Fishgreat restaurant...so it's definitely worth going there...there are also plenty of options for children...We'll definitely come back again with greetings from Lingen in Emsland

Hosts very unfriendly and rude, staff very nice. Staff is only available on site for breakfast. Double room on the upper floor very hot, air conditioning inadequate, window directly facing the main street, extremely loud - it was hard to sleep at 30° - location otherwise good, breakfast a bit poor (no fruit on our vacation days, little for vegetarians/vegans, had fish expected, by 9 a.m. a lot of things were almost gone). Hygiene concept is ridiculous: 1.5m distance cannot be maintained in the narrow corridors, you have to choose times for the breakfast buffet (that's ok too), then eat with about 5-10 people in a smaller room and help yourself to the buffet (everyone has the same size). Forks on, we didn't find any disinfectant at the buffet).Overall, I don't think the price-performance ratio is that good - €96 when booking, €98 per night when booking by email. The landlord was very angry on the phone and preferred to avoid direct contact. Probably won't come back.
