The Thalhauser Mühle is isolated and surrounded by greenery. Peace and quiet is guaranteed there!The entire complex is clean and tidy, with many new and modern influences.The rooms leave nothing to be desired! There are even extra rooms for guests with dogs - who are also welcome everywhere!!! Bowl, blanket or towel, everything is ready for your furry friend! Top!!!I would like to point out that with so much 'dog-friendliness', a trash can for the leftovers on the site might be a useful addition...The staff is without exception friendly, helpful and competent!The dishes are prepared and served with attention to detail - although the prices are in the higher segment.Summary: The feel-good factor is high -clear recommendation.

Like a few hours of vacation: in a rustic location and well suited for a walk before dinner. Very quiet and despite the modern touch, rustic and cozy with a feel-good factor! We enjoyed the day and sat on the terrace. Top service, quick, nice and super friendly!!! Delicious chilled gusset 🍺 and absolutely delicious food. Another compliment to the kitchen!!!!!! Eight out of five possible stars!!! Warning to the staff in advance: we will be back soon! 🤣😂🤣Update 04/28/24:The service was just as nice, polite, courteous and attentive as the first visit. 🍺🍺🍺 and the food were also consistently delicious!!!👍👍👍Update 7/27/24:Even in small things it's big: Wednesday was tapas day! And??? Very simple: super super delicious!!! And still great, attentive and very friendly service!👍

We had lunch there this afternoon.Normally we wanted to have a nice day, but after a few minutes that was no longer possible.We had reserved a table and there was nothing wrong with that.Then came the lunch menu.Unfortunately this was kept quite small.I asked the waitress if that was all. She replied that this was so correct.Then, out of necessity, we ordered something from this menu. There were two pedestrian stoppers folded up on a corner of the wall in the restaurant.There was also a dish on this stand that we would definitely have liked. When I asked the waitress whether this dish was also available today, she replied in a casual tone that it could be possible but it would be too late for us anyway. We could have read it beforehand, even if it was folded up and sitting on the wall.You should make it clear to the service staff in a team meeting that it doesn't work that way.Firstly, pedestrian stoppers are designed to be set up to clearly inform guests. Secondly, it would definitely be an advantage if the service staff made you aware of this information and didn't give the guest snappy answers. Like, you could have seen that. I would like to say goodbye to your restaurant and my wife forever.Besides, the food wasn't exactly tasty either.The first time a few months ago everything was different.We were really looking forward to eating with you again, but unfortunately it was a complete failure thanks to your service.Kind regards, Mr. Memminger

People there are very friendly and helpful. I am a wheelchair user and my luggage was brought to my room from the car. There's nothing to complain about. Breakfast and dinner were very good.

We went there for dinner on March 6th, 2024. Clean location, very nice employees. The dish Wiener Schnitzel with Champion cream sauce and fried potatoes; a taste explosion!!! The Thalhauser Mühle is idyllically located in the forest on a country road. We will probably park our motorcycles there more often.........

The service was very good. The food, well.Schnitzel Viennese style and Wiener Schnitzel, both very dry and not seasoned enough.Cream of asparagus soup as a starter for a whopping €8! Far too little, asparagus not cooked through, taste boring, bland, just not good.You would think if you went to a restaurant today and paid so much money that you would get something delicious to eat. And not just something average at best.

We stayed here at the hotel for 2 days and are very satisfied with the room facilities and cleanliness. The bathroom is large and even has a sauna. The balcony faces the forest.The in-house restaurant is very inviting and the outdoor area is beautifully designed.The food, we had the Thalhäuser mill plate, was very well prepared and very, very tasty. For dessert there was homemade apple strudel, which rounded off the dinner completely. I can only recommend the dessert.The staff was very busy that day due to a celebration, but they were friendly and always in a good mood, which is not a given!If you value a quiet hotel but still value good comfort, this is the right place for you.Thanks to the staff

We were there in the restaurant for the first time and were totally thrilled! Great range of food, very good quality of products and very friendly staff. From now on we will go there more often. Oh, almost forgot, the prices are fair too!
