We were there in a motorhome and we received a friendly welcome despite the cold season. We had already booked online and completed the paperwork. The space is not that big, clean and tidy as well as the sanitary facilities. Price/performance okay. A comfortable bike ride to Herrenhausen Gardens/Castle, about 40 minutes and well signposted. We can highly recommend the place.

We were there one night with our caravan. There is a surveillance camera running in a trailer directly opposite the women's toilet and shower. It flashes green alternately and is definitely on. What kind of recordings these are can only be guessed at. There is no sign indicating video surveillance. See pictures. Honestly? I don't have to go to the toilet there at night or, better yet, take a shower there. We are going again and will definitely not come back.

The parking space right on the lake was great, the sanitary facilities would benefit from more frequent cleaning. The "restaurant" takes a lot of getting used to - but ok for one night

We were visiting friends at the campsite, it is a very nice facility.Clean toilet facilities.The lake with the long sandy beach, beautiful to look at and impressive.You can water ski and there are plenty of other activities to have fun.A nice place for the whole family.We will come back.Dirk and Connie

Sanitary facilities are good and otherwise really nice, you're right on the lake. But what a central location means is the highway, through which you are constantly exposed to noise all day and all night and you can't even sleep with an oropax + pillow over your head. 50 euros for one night with the camper and then buy extra shower tokens.Conclusion, definitely nice if you have difficulty hearing anything or if you live next to the motorway.Unfortunately, anything but relaxing.

Everything is very, very untidy, the long-term campers let their “properties” partially become overgrown, and overall they are not well maintained. You could do a lot with the location. But the staff was very nice and helpful.

This campsite is a total failure. The log cabins are totally dirty. Everything on the stove and the window behind it was sprayed full of grease and burned solid. Dust on the lamps and furnishings. Very poor quality mattresses. A dirty stove, but no pots. Dishes dirty. Approx. 25m from the A2. You don't close your eyes at night. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere in the hut. Left again on the same day, they wanted to check the process, but weeks later there was still no response. You gave the money in advance, so you don't have to report it anymore.

Nice lake but otherwise not so great. It's good that RVs have a shower and toilet, but the ones on site weren't that clean.Overall, the worst place in years.

Beautiful lake with a nice campsite. Everything is clean and the facilities at the lake (water skiing, mini golf, water play park) are great. The location on the motorway is of course not necessarily a prime location, but it was great for a few relaxing days.

Excellent overnight campsite (near the highway) with a lovely swimming lake. Sanitary facilities are neat and sufficient; For a small fee you can take a nice, long shower. "Yes", the highway can be heard, but it is not that bad in a caravan.

The campsite is very poorly located next to the highway. A lot of noise. The sanitary facilities were old-fashioned and worn. There was no camping shop, and you could no longer order bread. The man at the reception was not friendly at all and wanted to get money out of everything. Photos do not correspond to reality. The only plus is the lake nearby where you can cool off.The campsite is really run down and dirty, not child friendly. €1.5 to take a shower while it doesn't even work properly....

+ + The lake is on the doorstep & the campsite is easy to reach by bus and train or by walking a few meters.o o The showers and toilets are not the newest, but they are clean and okay..- - The highway right next door is loud 24/7. In addition, the ground is absolutely unsuitable for tents; unfortunately, because of all the gravel in the ground, you can't get pegs into the ground.

The highlight is the Blue Lake itself: great water, great access and lots of options...The campsite itself is beautiful in terms of space, located directly on the lake.The receptionist is friendly, but not nice... The allocation of seats seemed random and without concept.There are no shops, but there is a small restaurant. A beach bar, water slide and mini golf as well as the water ski facility are located on the lake, but outside the campsite.The washrooms and toilets are in acceptable, but not top condition.The ravages of time are clearly eating away here.Unfortunately, the biggest motto here is: make money. Everything costs extra somehow, without you visibly seeing the money being invested in the space.I'll definitely be happy to come back, but better prepared 😃

We will be back!So we were really afraid that it would backfire after reading the reviews on Google. But we experienced the complete opposite! The safari tent with direct access to the lake was absolutely amazing! Top facilities, location, comfort, cleanliness. The toilets and showers are less than 30 seconds away. As far as the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is concerned, it's really up to the guests themselves, who often leave everything behind in a totally disrespectful manner, but the place can't help that!! The motorway only bothers those who are not aware that they are booking camping on the motorway, it didn't bother us. We will definitely come back!!! Everything around it was also perfect, aqua park, water skiing,Water slide, restaurant, small snack bar, playgrounds...what more could you want?Water quality was absolutely awesome!Staff super friendly!We really thought everything was awesome!!
