No camping! 1 toilet for 16 people. No shower, sink for washing dishes with cold, black water that smells like sludge and sewer. Not clean and certainly not hygienic. Power supply via reels from a central location. Definitely a nice Alexander, but I think you can expect more for 25 euros per night.

Life is never perfect, but there are perfect moments and people who make these moments perfect.One of these people is Alexandre de Jonge, the owner of Camping a la Ferme Strasbourg. Alexandre made it possible for us to spend two unforgettable days at his campsite with our motorhome. Alexandre is friendly, kind and helpful and we felt very comfortable thanks to his relaxed, friendly French savoir vivre way of life. We will remember the wonderful times spent together with French wine and nice conversation with Alexandre and his also very nice friend. We were more than just sad when we left and hope to see you again soon at the most amazing 🏕 campsite in France 🇫🇷Alexandre 😃, stay healthy 🍀 🐷 and be exactly as you are and don't be impressed by some negative comments 🥐 ☕ 😀 🇫🇷Kind regards Stefan, Simone and Jana 👋 🤗

Bad! Shouldn't be called a campsite with 1 toilet for 15 people, no shower, no washing up facilities except with cold, smelly black water. Power supply not good. Hygiene is lacking. …

Quiet campsite à la ferme not far from the center of Strasbourg. By bike 15 minutes.Nice, helpful owner. You can order baguettes etc. for the morning.Water and electricity available.The chickens watch breakfast.It's nice that something like this still exists near the big city.

Basic services, electricity included in the price and an excellent welcome from the very kind manager who was very willing to give information. To find the campsite entrance it is best to call; if they don't answer you immediately you will be called back shortly.

What an incredibly nice and charming host this Alexander is. The place is indd. difficult to find, but Alexander explained to us that he prefers to make a reservation - so that he can explain in detail how to drive to your destination. It is not a campsite with many facilities, but basic and enough space to camp with a camper and/or tent. The outdoor shower is connected to the source and the toilet, small sink, kettle and charger for your mobile phone are next to the house.The chickens roaming around are a pleasant company and so is the host who lovingly invites you for a drink.All in all - I like these kinds of basic places where there is plenty of room to be yourself and you get a warm welcome.Within 5 km cycling distance you will find yourself in the heart of Strasbourg,Camping costs €25 for 2 people per night.Alexander: Thank you - you are a beautiful person and who knows, maybe I will come by again with my travel van.Kind regards from me, Eef and friend Ineke.

Welcoming owner but very rudimentary service. Outdoor shower, obligatory swimsuit, sink with a water hose for washing dishes, not to mention the fragrant water... The price is really exaggerated compared to the services [a 2-star campsite is cheaper]. The only advantage is that Strasbourg is not very far... When paying, my credit card was refused?? We had to pay in cash, I'm a little doubtful of the payment system used... Not even a word to know if everything went well, owner stays in his chair and collects.

We have been to Camping a la ferme twice and felt totally comfortable both times. The place is very idyllic and you can relax wonderfully. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks English, German and Dutch in addition to French without any problems with the guests. We'd love to come back :-)People who are upset about the facilities here are like people who are upset that the sea is cold.

Very nice back-to-basic city campsite. Very friendly and helpful campsite owner. Due to a complex road diversion, he took the trouble to pick us up somewhere in the city by car and guide us to the campsite. Very customer-friendly attitude! Very easily accessible by telephone and via WhatsApp. If you don't care about a cold open air shower ;- highly recommended!

Difficult to find due to Google Maps seems to be in a scout camp owner available hot water and basic but sufficient amenities. A little expensive but visit the availability in Strasbourg you can stay there

One night spent by two adults with a campervan. This is not a campsite, but a private garden without proper services for the amount of people that use it. Quite far from the city centre unless you have a bicycle (45 minutes walking and no Velhop station nearby).The owner is nice, but the place is far from ideal.

Difficult to find, the address on the internet is wrong.The services are not those of a campsite but are in a garage of a house... for everyone there is only a sink and a toilet, without windows. The shower is in the middle of the pitches, a water hose with bamboo rods... the owner is kind, but I'm sorry to call it a campsite and pay for it like a campsite, but I'm also not.

Super location to visit Strasbourg. Ideal with mobile home. We took an Uber to the city (via Melaniestraat). We were in the center in 15 minutes.We had a camping car and therefore our own sanitary facilities. If you come with the tent, it is more difficult: there is only 1 toilet, 1 sink and 1 (cold) outdoor shower.Very friendly owner who also speaks Dutch, among many other languages. You could order bread and chocolate cakes from him for the next day.

A camping a la ferme, just as we imagined it. Lots of green and shade, peace and a relaxed atmosphere. Alexandre is friendly and very helpful in finding a nice place. The equipment is simple, a washing area, a natural shower. In the morning there can be baguette. We even got the ice packs frozen. By bike 20 minutes to the center of Strasbourg. What more could you want?! Thanks for the hospitality and fair prices. We'd love to come back! Inge and Franz
