Definitely go there! Take part in a wine tour with tasting and then feast in the field cafe with super friendly service! Go picking in the strawberry/raspberry fields in the summer!

The farm is simply wonderful. It's hard to beat the cake on the field cafe, with a fabulous backdrop and great atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, a pleasure for young and old

Unfortunately, hearty food wasn't good at all and expensive: dry, hard dough, meat not tasty, not very seasoned. Cake so-so, but not particularly. A pity

The field cafe is part of our daily must-do program when we spend our summer vacation at the Ingenhof. Such a beautiful place to stay, enjoy and feel good. We are already looking forward to next year and unfortunately we have to cope without the field cafe for now. Addictive factor is definitely there. Many greetings to the entire team.

The rating refers to the Solaris 2022 semi-dry. I'm a "climate refugee" who moved here and at the time I had a very famous white wine region on my doorstep.I wanted to bring wine from SH for the old homeland for Christmas, half as a gag, half out of the desire to give away regional wine (at first, no one believes that this exists anyway).I have to say that I wouldn't describe myself as a proven wine expert. But when it comes to German white wine, I think I know what's good and what's not.In my opinion this wine is very good and the aroma is simply stunning. The last time I had something so fruity and floral was with a semi-dry white wine in or from my native wine region (I don't buy it in the supermarket, etc.).This may also be due to the Solaris vine itself, which I didn't know before. But I definitely think it's justified that the 22 bottling won a prize and it can definitely compete with bottlings from the "big" regions.

The field café is only open in summer. It is located at the back of the Ingenhof. There you can also go to the strawberry fields, some of which are covered. Here you have a wonderful view of the Osholstein terminal moraine landscape. There are lots of different seating options, sandpits for the kids and a huge selection of pedal tractors, go-carts and bobby cars with which the children can let off steam. The relatively high-priced menu offers a wide variety of cakes and tarts, but also hearty dishes such as stews or sandwiches. Drinks, whether hot or chilled, are also offered. There are sufficient parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity.
