Service was friendly. The food tasted very good. We stayed at the hut for one night. The rooms are clean but simple. That's okay. The sanitary facilities are clean and soap is available.The hut has a whole closet full of games, which is a great way to keep yourself busy.I even got a second helping of the great dessert.Loving hut, we would come back again.

Disaster!I'm sorry for every cent I left there.Were there as a family-Food completely overpriced-3 different dishes (Käsekrainer, Kasspressknödel with salad and Kaiserschmarrn) and none of them were really tasty-The children were simply served a huge portion of mustard with the sausage, and it was even hotter. Here it would have been appropriate to ask what you would prefer.-No napkins anywhere-We wanted the Kaiserschmarrn without plums, but it was still served-We also looked in vain for salt and pepper shakers-completely loveless setup and the hammer at the end-Maggots in the salad!!!!!!!!!!!!And no matter how nice we were, we discreetly told the waitress, the reaction was that no one was interested. That doesn't work at all!!!!! We were so disappointed!!!!!

Made in the salad🤮 I was there for dinner with my family and ordered a cheese dumpling with salad. Shortly before I finished eating, I saw the live maggot crawling into my salad🤢When I gave my food back without making a big fuss, I didn't receive an apology or any other reaction from the staff and that almost made me even more upset like that disgusting maggot in my food. It's not asking too much to apologize for something like that, is it? Apparently at the Priener Hütte.PS anyone who wants good food should walk a few meters further and go to the Burger Alm on the Wandberg to eat, where friendliness and service are very important!!!

The only thing that was halfway good was the beer.What is referred to here as Kaiserschmarrn has absolutely nothing to do with a really good Kaiserschmarrn.The pressed dumpling on salad was not only very expensive but also so hard that you couldn't even cut it with a knife. You could find all sorts of things in the potato soup (€10). Carrots, celery, etc. If you looked really carefully you found 3 cubes of potatoes.It's a shame about the beautiful location. Never again. Thank you.

Modernly equipped hut with friendly operators and a beautiful view! The mattresses in the bed storage are very soft/saggy, but I like the built-in partitions. The lentil soup was absolutely delicious, breakfast was also good, you can still work on the Kaiserschmarn. ;) You can refresh yourself in the lake 5 minutes further down.

Very friendly atmosphere in the hut, even though it was fully occupied. Shared rooms with good beds and clean sanitary facilities.Warm shower costs 5 euros for 3.5 minutes.There was a menu in the evening and a good breakfast in the morning. Not cheap but good, a clear recommendation.

Rarely have I seen such a friendly and harmonious team.Great location, great food and great staff.We felt completely comfortable and in the evening with the campfire, it couldn't be nicer.This Alm is absolutely recommended!We'll definitely be back 👍Thank you for the great evening with you ✌️

"Hello, sit down, do you want to eat something, what can I get you to drink?" This is how you imagine a visit to a restaurant, unfortunately not there. Unfriendly, apparently uninterested in sales, you stand like a child at the school kiosk and have to decide in 5 seconds from the annoyed landlady; It's not. Here you're a supplicant and not a guest. If you're too lazy to serve a guest, you shouldn't become an innkeeper. Apparently the owners are doing too well with their "hut" so I'd rather leave next time thirsty further.

A nice and easy hike and wow what a view from the Hütte 😍 Also on the way there really beautiful views. I don’t understand what people are complaining about this place’s prices or quality of food. The food was simple but tasty as it usually is in the mountain huts due to difficulty of transporting the ingredients up and having a simple kitchen.

Unfortunately the staff wasn't exactly hospitable so we only had one drink. Not far from the Priener Hütte, on the Austrian side, are the Wandberghütte and the Burgeralm. Hospitality is very important there and it is also cheaper.

Today, after we were at the Geigelstein, we stopped at the Priener Huts for a Kaiserschmarrn and a Radler. The Radler was poorly priced for almost €5 and the Schmarrn for almost €14 was outrageously small for the price.When I asked if she was serious for €14, the waitress didn't respond at all.We definitely won't be coming here again.The operators should follow the example of other huts such as Kranzhorn or Hochfelln, here you get decent portions and tasty food for your money

We went there to eat today during a tour. The service was top, the food was delicious. It was our first time in a hut and they explained everything to us and were extremely friendly to us.

Top location for eating and/or staying overnight. The service was super friendly and the half board is very worth it. The hut is a great starting point for various mountain tours, such as Geigelstein. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We only found the shower for 3 minutes/€5 too expensive. We'd love to come back.
