We are far from the idea we have of a 4****.....It's a 4 star formula 1 but no more... You get the bare minimum....Only one mini bottle of water in the room for two...And for us the big black point is clearly no door between the bathroom and the bedroom and it's not possible to turn on the toilet without turning on the bathroom and therefore without lighting in the bedroom... At night it's still very unpleasant for the one who sleeps to take the light....I think that this type of hotel is stuck to the mini of 4**** standards but has nothing of a 4 star

Nice hotel with good location. From there we were able to walk straight into the city center. The room is clean, the TV is large - unfortunately no Netflix available. We'll be back

Several stays in this hotel and always the same opinion, the staff is welcoming, smiling and friendly, the rooms are modern, clean, well equipped, beautiful and tastefully decorated!The bedding is comfortable, the pillows perfect!The breakfast is OK although for the price we would expect a little more choice.Very good location, a stone's throw from the Rive Etoile shopping center and close to the center (cathedral) on foot.

The rooms are really well appointed and premium. The shower is large and everything is very clean.However, do not be careful about the breakfast which is clearly not up to par in terms of quality and price (€20 all the same).Super hard pastries, as if they had been cooked the day before, no more white forming and we are not offered to add more, too little choice... too bad, it was almost faultless, an effort to be made on that side.

The hotel is nice, but with certain weaknesses. Great location. Very nice staff, but there is a lack of necessary information that is given to you. Important: Don't use the parking garage right around the corner (really expensive), instead use the shopping center 5 minutes away.

Overall, our stay at the Hotel Aloft Strasbourg Etoile was fine. Unfortunately, there were a few points that caused inconvenience.The check-in was positive and went smoothly. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. We also liked the room itself: it was modern and tastefully decorated, and the view was really great - a great view, especially in the evenings.However, we had problems with the air conditioning. It wasn't working when we arrived and despite reporting it to the reception staff, the problem wasn't solved. Instead we initially got an old fan, which wasn't really a solution. After our second report, a technician was sent, but after that the air conditioning simply remained preset and could no longer be adjusted on the display at all. As a result, the air in the room was extremely stuffy and the nights were very uncomfortable.The room service also left a lot to be desired. We had never experienced dirty glasses being simply put back in front of us. In addition, the towels were not changed and the bed was prepared very carelessly.Overall, the stay was okay, but we would have expected much more for a hotel of this category, especially in terms of service and technical equipment.

Catastrophic! If you want to sleep peacefully, run away.You should know that the hotel hosts parties that last until 3 a.m. with extremely loud music. We complained several times before changing rooms at 1:30 in the morning.In the morning, the staff pointed out with disdain and smugness that the evenings were part of the “American” concept of the hotel. Now it seems to me that the primary function of a hotel is to sleep.

The place was nice in terms of service and pricing . It’s also in the Marriott network so that also helps. The breakfast options were decent. The place also has a bar attached which is decent.

Modern city hotel in a perfect location for the center. The rooms are clean and functional, the bed is very comfortable and the shower is really big. The large windows are also great, but unfortunately they cannot be opened. However, we have two major criticisms. In two of the three nights we were here, we couldn't sleep because there was extremely loud music including a DJ in the lobby of the hotel. When we asked the bar at 12:30 a.m. to turn down the music, nothing happened until now (2 a.m.). With all understanding - you are a hotel and not a club and our room was on the 3rd floor, not even directly above the lobby.Unfortunately the breakfast was also disappointing for us. For a whopping €20, the selection is still okay, but a lot of things (cutlery, bread, cakes) were quickly sold out and were not refilled for a long time, or sometimes not at all, even though breakfast time was still over an hour later. In our opinion, a no-go at this price.The service at the reception depends a lot on who you get to. From being very friendly at check-in to being ignored, everything was there. All in all, the disappointment outweighs the disappointment.

Service was okay. Location was very good and walkable to a lot!No on site parking. Parking is VERY expensive and not close at all. Also, the room was so hot that I was nauseous. Problem is that the windows don't open and the AC doesn't go lower. A miserable stay and I would never come back.

Everything is great, you just have to be completely retarded to go through a whole hotel where the windows don't open. You add to that a very strong and pungent smell of disinfectant throughout the room that you can't get out and it's perfect.Bravo for the design 👏👏

All good except for one major annoyance being that you cannot open any window in your room.These modern buildings with their so called ventilation systems are a failure. Nothing beats opening your windows in the morning to refresh your room and get rid of the humidity that builds up. The ventilation on the ceiling of the shower is there but it’s not actually sucking anything.Been here for 2 nights now, 2 to go. Honestly my room smells.
