Our children spent a weekend here with their grandparents. The children had a great time, were very involved and learned a lot about farm life. The accommodations and bathrooms were very clean, the breakfast was delicious and made with a lot of love. Thank you very much for everything!

As a regular guest by now, once again I wasn't disappointed.When the weather is mixed and holidays are possible in a better combination, the question within the family often arises: "What do we do?" Quite quickly the call often comes: “Let’s spend a night in the barrels”, which happened this time too and once again we weren’t disappointed.As always, the service, the friendly family, the cleanliness and, last but not least, the outstanding breakfast, which always has a variation as a surprise, are first class. The Ziegler family always tries to say goodbye to all guests with a smile. A dream is lived here. Last but not least, the interactive farm always makes the children beam with joy. Here you can and should lend a hand, as is typical of a farm, there is always something to do here, from sunrise.We would like to thank you again for the short trip and saySee you soon!

This is the second time we have had a short holiday on the farm. Something like this rarely happens. Everything is prepared down to the last detail, everything is very, very clean and the operators are very friendly and open to every wish. A highlight is the breakfast. This surpasses many high-priced hotels. There is a huge variety of regional and organic products. There is a lot for children to explore and pet on the farm 😉Always happy, I can only recommend it.

A true paradise in the countryside! Our stay in this cozy holiday cottage on the farm was simply fantastic. From the warm welcome from the hosts to the moment we left, we felt at home.The house itself is charming and lovingly furnished. It offers all the comfort you could wish for and the views of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking.The hosts are incredibly welcoming and really looked after our well-being. We received fresh eggs and were even able to help with some farm activities, which was an unforgettable experience.The location of the holiday home is perfect for enjoying nature. We spent our days hiking, exploring the surrounding area and relaxing on the farm.We can highly recommend this farm holiday cottage. It is the ideal place to escape from everyday life, experience the beauty of nature and enjoy warm hospitality. We will definitely come back!

A very nice experience for the entire family. The barrels are spaced generously apart and every guest gets the space they want. You can also get an interesting insight into the life of a farmer. We were very impressed with this family business. The breakfast and the selection of drinks from a self-service refrigerator leave nothing to be desired. The separate bathroom is modern and comfortable. Everything is lovingly furnished. Spending the night in a barrel is a very good alternative to camping in a tent in sometimes rainy Hesse😉

What a beautiful experience. The wine barrel was clean, cozy and lovingly furnished. The breakfast basket was super tasty. Many thanks to the Ziegler family for the insight into the interesting farm life and for allowing us to get so close to the animals. We had a wonderful time with our children. The Ziegler family are very accommodating and friendly hosts. There is always something on offer for children here (feeding rabbits, milking cows and learning something about farm life in a playful way). A great place for a short vacation! Everything is super clean and well maintained. The hosts are very nice and are happy to provide information about the farm and the animals. Sleeping in a barrel is a great experience and no problem even in colder temperatures. The associated bathrooms are great. The outdoor area is beautifully designed, there is a common area with a kitchen, barbecue area, sun loungers, a hammock and a climbing hill with a crawling tunnel for the little ones. Toys are also available. You can tell that someone is really thinking about this. We can only recommend this holiday destination. A little tip: A vacation in spring is especially worthwhile when the farm animals have young!
