We hiked up to the inn and were rewarded with delicious food and a very nice host. A visit there is worth it. There is a nice green playground for children and you can also take a look into the cowshed. And also in the kitchen.

A wonderful place for a break. Quiet and somewhat secluded, in the middle of nature. Excellent cuisine and friendly hosts. Always nice, both as an overnight guest and as a destination for a hike with a stop.

We went here for dinner and loved it. Freshly prepared and good portions. Prices are not extortionate and completely fine. Staff very friendly and able to fulfill every wish. Even if you arrive with a four-legged friend. We felt very welcome and had a good time here. Happy to come back!

Discovered this great inn by chance on our motorcycle tour. It's in the middle of the world 🤣 but it's definitely worth a trip. Good price-performance ratio. Very tasty food that is still cooked in the wood oven. Big portion. The pork knuckle was fried until crispy, with a very good homemade sauce and dumplings. The boiled beef was very tender with fresh horseradish and potatoes. Everything is beautifully prepared, because your eyes eat with you. The only disadvantage was that you had to place the order in the restaurant and pay straight away. You had to get your own drinks and the food was brought. This should perhaps also be communicated through stands on every table, because we waited 10 minutes for a service to come until we read on a piece of paper that was attached to the ceiling that it was self-service.Otherwise highly recommended, as there is also a great atmosphere 👍👍👍

Very nice staff and roast pork from the wood-fired oven as well as schnitzel with fried potatoes from the forge pan. Clean toilets and modern sinks. You have to order in the restaurant and get drinks. The location is great as it is the perfect rest stop for cyclists and hikers. And a sweet farm dog.

The Gutsgasthof Frath is a true gem among inns and guesthouses. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast offers an excellent selection of fresh produce, including homemade butter. The accommodations, whether rooms or apartments, are tastefully furnished and always spotlessly clean. The location is ideal for hiking and provides a great base for exploring. It's no wonder so many regular guests love coming back here again and again. What is particularly noteworthy is that the hosts cook themselves and the dishes are simply delicious. An unreserved recommendation for an unforgettable stay!
