Very nicely located family-run guesthouse in a residential area with lots of greenery. The hosts are very friendly and are always willing to listen to guests' questions. The room was very nice and it was very clean, everything you need as a guest was there. We had booked breakfast. Everything was there and lovingly prepared. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the guesthouse to the train station and restaurants. We really enjoyed it and would be happy to be guests at Casa Monica again. Thank you Mattes family.

As already described in other reviews, the surveillance state rules here. Cameras everywhere, probably because the area where Casa Monika is based is struggling with gang crime (this is a new housing development in the suburbs of Berlin. This is where dogs and cats say goodnight to each other and at 8 the curbs fold up).The reception was very imperious, as if in a commanding tone. ID cards will be requested first and you will be instructed to wait. Then the briefing into the rooms like in the army.Work shoes must be taken off in front of the house.Rooms are clean, no question, and bathrooms are lovingly furnished and modern. Unfortunately there are 2 rooms and 1 shared bathroom on the upper floor for private individuals or families. Well suited for companies.Rooms remained at the end of the 90s, everything in the old children's room wood look.And completely overlaid with objects, sometimes less is more. Unfortunately, the PC with internet didn't work.Bed resembles a concrete road surface.Duvet resembles a transparent silk paper (approx. 0.6 micrometers thick)Head pillow as big as A4 sheetThere are prohibition signs and signs about correct behavior everywhere. Everything is somehow cluttered with objects that somehow have a superimposed influence. Atmosphere is somehow unpleasant. The cameras in the house make you feel rather unpleasantly watched. As if the walls had ears or the owners could hear fleas coughing downstairs.

Very unfriendly people, room is like that, everything is outdated, slippers are required, you are not allowed to turn on lights, night lights everywhere, breakfast is not possible, "coffee" is inedible, bad road with potholes, be careful with lowered cars. Luckily only spent 1 night, i.eIt's not a hotel!!!!!

Everything is very clean, hosts seem very unfriendly and bossy, bed is quite hard, barefoot/slippers are compulsory from the entrance door, cameras for surveillance everywhere, payment is made immediately upon greeting and ID is required, shared bathroom, although described differently online.It may be a good choice for families, but not for our employees.

We were guests here for the second time and were very enthusiastic again, we were warmly welcomed and looked after very, very friendly and lovingly. We can always recommend this guesthouse. We found nothing to complain about. We are pleased We are already looking forward to our next stay in Falkensee in this guesthouse.

A stay did not take place. A request for an appointment in December for the following August could not be answered and I was asked to appear again in May. You can't plan like that!The subsequent message from me that I would not stay because of the sometimes very bad Google reviews remained unanswered.

A very clean accommodation with very nice and open-minded hosts and a very lovely “host dog”. Our dog was also very welcome. We found it very pleasant that they value cleanliness here and suspect that some of the signs are only intended to draw attention to how you should behave when using someone else's property. The hosts have certainly had some bad experiences.Wonderfully quiet location, delicious breakfast with small tasty surprises, very clean and well-kept room. We have often visited our friends in Falkensee and now we have one more thing to look forward to. Great accommodation! We will be back!

The reception was a 6, before we were allowed into our room we waited in a tiny hallway, our IDs were checked and we had to pay for the room first... before we were allowed to enter, the house and the room were completely blocked up and covered with prohibition signs! You have the feeling of being monitored. Whether you go or come, everything is checked. The crowning achievement was on the day of our departure, Mr. ... stood in our room, shortly before 9 a.m., simply unlocked and blared room service 3/4 times ... really without words. Impossible behavior, no behavior at all, cleanliness is not everything if you are not hospitable, which is the most important thing when running a guesthouse! Once and never again!

We felt warmly welcomed over the Christmas holidays. The rooms are lovingly furnished and technically very well equipped. The breakfast was very tasty. I particularly liked the various small delicacies. The hosts are very nice and happy to provide information. The cleanliness also left nothing to be desired. It is absolutely familiar and no comparison to large, anonymous hotels.

Not recommended! Curious, you have the feeling of constant observation and snooping. Absolutely no service providers, completely wrong in this industry! I could have given myself the booking as a gift, extremely annoying!
