We were able to spend a week with Maria & Franz in the Chiemsee holiday apartment. Everything was tip top (clean, modern & well maintained). The hosts, the apartment, the playground, the animals, the bread service, the location (super beautiful mountain view),… it was really a great family vacation for us and the children. A perfect farm with top accommodation. Our son and we feel very comfortable here on beautiful Chiemsee. Maria and Franz are very committed and loving hosts. Here a child can really experience a lot on the farm. From looking after the calf to driving a tractor and riding, everything is included. Thank you for the wonderful time so far and we are looking forward to the second week on your farm.

We stayed with Maria and Franz at the Marksteinhof for a week. We really liked it. The Glücksklee holiday apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. We felt comfortable straight away. Our daughter had a lot of fun in the great playground and with the animals. And we were able to use the lovingly furnished sauna area. A huge thank you to Maria and Franz for their hospitality and the delicious welcome breakfast.

The Alpenglühen holiday apartment is very spacious and tastefully furnished. The many wooden elements and the indirect lighting are particularly beautiful. We also really liked the murals.The kitchen equipment is great! A basket for breakfast rolls might be a useful addition.From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the mountains.What was great for us with a baby (9 months) was the baby equipment: everything from a changing table, high chair, baby bed to a baby bathtub was available.The farm itself is an experience, especially for children. The kids can help out in the stable and also ride around the yard on one of the two horses. There are also bunnies to pet and feed. A large playground invites you to run around. There was even a baby swing for our little one.In short: a great holiday destination for families with children!

The overall package fits. Very nice hosts and very well-equipped modern apartment. We were guests of the Oberloher family for 6 days and felt completely at home there. It was already the 2nd stay and a third will definitely follow.

This was one of the best family holidays we have had so far, in the middle of a beautiful Bavarian farm.An all-round carefree package with wonderful care and wonderful excursions in the surrounding area.

Farm in the countryside, with lake and mountain views. Beautiful house, great, fine sauna area. The little daughter always had something to do with animals and the outdoor area.The hosts are just super friendly and gave great tips for exploring. We would be happy to come again.

The Marksteinhof is located in a beautiful landscape and offers great, high-quality holiday apartments that leave nothing to be desired. For us as a family with a wheelchair user, it was ideal because the apartments are accessible at ground level, are very spacious and, if necessary, various aids are available, e.g. for the bathroom. The whole family is always concerned about the well-being of the guests and, in addition to the normal farm business, pampers the holidaymakers with the utmost warmth. There are countless opportunities for children to play and they can help out in the stable. Of course, you can go on many excursions from the farm, the mountains are not far, Lake Chiemsee and numerous smaller lakes are nearby. We will definitely be back after the first time in summer 2022 and have already booked our next stay on the farm!

Super lovely landlords who responded really quickly when we booked. Our stay was wonderful, the farm is in a great location and our holiday home was super clean and lovingly and modernly furnished. We immediately felt very comfortable. The children had so much space to run around. A brand new playground, with everything a child could desire, invites you to play. Helping in the stable and driving the tractor was a lot of fun, both young and old. We would vacation at the Marksteinhof again and again, everything was just great.

We spent 2 weeks at the Marksteinhof with the Oberloher family and we are thrilled and will be back next year!!! Maria and Franz are great hosts. They always had an open ear for us and included the children, aged 1 and 3, in the stable work with great patience!!! The holiday home is very nice, cozy and super clean!!! A huge surprise was the playground, which leaves nothing to be desired 👍Thank you for the great 2 weeks!!! We look forward to next year!
