We were in the manager's house with friends and had a total of 3 small children with us. The location of the estate is sensational, you step out of the door and the children are in nature. It was a beautifully sunny autumn weekend. One of the days we didn't go on a trip at all and just let ourselves drift in the large garden, played with the cats and walked to the nearby Urft, a forest/water paradise for the children. The hosts are super nice, helpful and gave us great tips for nearby excursions. In the accommodation we lacked bars for the stairs to protect the little ones. Otherwise everything was great.

This was the second time we have been to this wonderful place with our granddaughters. The beautiful rustic and lovingly designed accommodations, the entire fairytale property with its pond, old trees, flowers and animals are balm for the soul and a little adventure for the children.Having said that, there were only a few small things that we were missing, such as an opportunity to take bathing suits and wet clothes, etc. to dry. And surely a railing will be attached to the “balcony” of the really great tree house? We wish you much success and energy for the further expansion and design of your good new work!

We three sisters went to Gut Neuwerk for a long weekend. For us nature lovers, it’s a very enchanting spot on earth. The family was very friendly and helpful. We have great respect for the performance of the hosts, how much courage, work and passion they put into maintaining this wonderful place. We are particularly fond of the chickens, who are very grateful to be able to live with such a warm-hearted family. We felt very comfortable at Gut Neuwerk. Since each of us preferred our own bedroom, I slept in the children's room. I think it would be nice if there were blackout options in this room too. In principle, we are also fans of fly screens. :) We really enjoyed our time and can only recommend this place in the beautiful Eifel.Thank you very muchAndrea

Dear Sarah and Michael, we spent 4 days in your studio, it was a very nice, relaxing time with you, in a really nice atmosphere, we really enjoyed it, and were always greeted by the rooster and his chickens, that's what we were happy about very pleased. Gut Neuwerk is a very special place in the Eifel. Surrounded by a river, a small lake and a forest, you can wake up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning, cool off in the cool river on hot days and end the day with a campfire in the evening.The accommodation called "Atelier" is the jewel of Gut Neuwerk with a bathtub overlooking the greenery and its own sauna with chill lounge on top.It is particularly nice that several generations live at Gut Neuwerk and their own permaculture garden has been created.I was able to get involved in a “Holiday for Hands” campaign and it was a lot of fun!I can 100% recommend a stay at Gut Neuwerk and am looking forward to being there again in the summer.

A wonderful place in the middle of beautiful nature. The birds are chirping, the Urft flows calmly in the immediate vicinity, and the estate has its own lake, which certainly offers additional space for relaxing moments in summer. Our stay in rainy February gave us a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of the city with stimulating forays through the nature reserve.Sara and Michael found a magical place and created something truly extraordinary there.

We spent 5 wonderful days in the "Atelier" last week. After our hikes in typical November weather, we were able to warm up in the evening in the sauna and in front of the fireplace. A dream!

Gut Neuwerk is in an idyllic location and is best reached by car.We stayed in the “Gästehaus” holiday apartment with high-quality furnishings, a cozy fireplace in the dining room and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub.The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We can expressly recommend this accommodation and are very, very happy to stay at Gut Neuwerk.There are hiking trails in the immediate vicinity, for example along the ancient Roman aqueduct. Many other hiking trails in the Eifel can be reached by car.

We booked the place as a wedding location. Gut Neuwerk is absolutely fantastic. An absolute paradise where I would recommend everyone to spend a weekend to unwind or something similar! Also a great place to meet for a smaller group of friends.But for a wedding it is actually a no go from our point of view. You have to realize that you really have to cart everything. There really is nothing! But this is communicated fairly from the start. What we didn't realize. You are in absolute nowhere! There are actually no hotel solutions. In addition to really run-down accommodation in the area, there are also solutions like the beautiful monastery, which my wedding guests want.Ultimately it is not suitable for a wedding/celebration, we had to realize that too. Although we canceled a year in advance, we still had to pay our contractually agreed deposit. They did not respond to our offer to look for new guests or something similar. The wedding planner commissioned by Gut Neuwerk (really really nice at the beginning) no longer reacts at all once she has received the money.
