The hotel is centrally located, the room furnishings are simple and practical. Breakfast was ok but not particularly noteworthy.We liked the food in the restaurant/beer garden.Unfortunately, the check out times are very restrictive. In our case, we were so to speak thrown out at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday when it rained, and we weren't even able to dump our luggage. Normally it would have to be possible to stay in the restaurant in order to bridge any waiting time.Instead, we were pointed out in a rude tone about the owners' long working hours and that they sometimes have to get off work and won't open again until 2:30 p.m.!Absolutely guest-unfriendly behavior, unfortunately cannot be recommended in this regard and urgently needs to be improved!

Very friendly and brilliant hosts. Great, cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, there is also a really great beer garden and all in a beautiful historic building in the old town of Schwalenberg. Super tasty, fresh food and great homemade cakes. I always like to come in for a drink and a bite to eat. The owners are always interested in the opinions of the guests and continue to develop the mountain garden with fresh ideas. I wish Jens and Steffi continued success and look forward to every visit there.

As always, a friendly and warm atmosphere.We went there spontaneously today for dinner, there was a very tasty pea stew... A good portion and almost as tasty as it used to be at grandma's...

The hotel is run part-time by a nice couple and has 9 room numbers. Good breakfast and food with a small menu. Rooms are spacious in the historic building. We felt very comfortable.

Cozy, rustic atmosphere. Clean and cozy rooms. Very nice hosts who also provide information about other locations and are also helpful if there is no room available or if you need help in any other way.Beer tastes great and on weekends there is a small menu if you are hungry.I'd love to come back.

Old half-timbered house, partially restored with a lot of love. Very friendly staff.Dinner recommended despite the small menu. Bikers welcome. Anyone who doesn't have high expectations will get along well here.

Very rustic inn with very nice owners and friendly staff. The prices are absolutely right and the food is very tasty. There is a beautiful garden. So an absolute recommendationUnfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as we were only there to eat. The inn is located in the beautiful town of Schwalenberg.

Hurray! The mountain garden is open again! how can you drink a pilsner in peace or eat a little something? Guest rooms are also available, ideal for cyclists with bed and breakfast.

Located in the middle of the town center in the beautiful, historic town of Schwalenberg, in a quiet location with a beautiful, lovingly designed beer garden, where we were able to enjoy the last rays of sunshine in the evening and the first sun of the day on the terrace in the morning with a latte. The hosts are warm, honestly we felt comfortable in this family environment from the first moment, it felt like “coming home”.The rooms are super clean, bright and lovingly furnished with everything you need, hairdryer, WiFi, 2 bottles of water included. We had a beautiful valley view from our room. The bathroom is small but equally clean. There is a small selection of dishes, freshly prepared by the host, which we enjoyed very, very much, and selected wines (other drinks of course) with a top price-performance ratio.After our arrival, we sat in the beautiful beer garden for a long time and were allowed to be pampered and cared for. If you are looking for a more extensive range of food, you will find it within walking distance. Breakfast is also offered, this time we “only” enjoyed a coffee with milk in the garden in the morning because we had other plans. Our hosts took over the operation at the beginning of November 22, so reviews written here before this time should no longer be relevant. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, your stay was an absolute highlight on our trip. Absolutely recommended!!!

Always a really pleasant stay! This is now the 4th time this year - 2023! Absolutely trustworthy, friendly and familiar! Like you belong. This family puts their heart, soul and soul into it. They have “two!” for everything and everyone. open ears, a keen sense for all guests - ...if wishes and suggestions are expressed, they are put into action - immediately. I've felt very comfortable so far - I've had three different rooms - each has its own charm... I've already seen a few hotels - I feel comfortable here and somehow like I'm at home. As is often the case, it is always up to you what you do with the situation. I can only recommend this hotel! Cleanliness, friendliness, respect and hospitality are very important here. So far I've only been here for work - I won't choose another hotel for personal reasons if I'm looking for a room in the area! Warm greetings from an employee of D-Concept 38! The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings in the historic center of Schwalenberg.Simple, rustic, with a pub and friendly owners.The room was clean and quiet, the food was good home cooking. If you prefer something different, there are other restaurants nearby.There is a beer garden in summer.I felt very well.Thanks
